Wildlife, woods, and timbers describes the unique Dream Catcher Log Cabin. Located near the Little Muskegon River (3/4 mile walk/drive to the river through the private, wooded area), Dream Catcher Log Cabin provides a gorgeous backdrop for creating memories with your family. Nature lovers will enjoy exploring the private 60 acres of Huron-Manistee Forest by day, and relaxing by the nicely landscaped fire pit area at night. There is also a fun kid's playhouse, which was built to match the main log cabin. The Dream Catcher Log Cabin is not for those who dislike taxidermy, as there are a few statues of deer, turkey, and fox in the living room.

Topping out at 2200 sq. ft., this custom-built log cabin has 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms and sleeps 10-12 people (10 in beds, and 2 more on the full-sized sofa). Dream Catcher Log Cabin also comes with a basic kitchen, including a dishwasher, and some other comforts of home including Wi-Fi, 3 TVs, and Air Conditioning. Since it is a log cabin, the floors tend to creak when walking, especially around the bedrooms. This pet-free, air-conditioned environment is crisp and clean, and the high vaulted ceilings, large windows, gas fireplace (with a blower), and jetted tub in the master bedroom, offer a welcoming environment for our guests to enjoy.

Keep in mind that although it may appear the cabin is secluded, there are neighbors within 200 feet. Noise travels within the stillness of nature, so we ask our guests to adhere to the Good Neighbor Policy with a 10pm-9am quiet time for outside activities. Please watch for the Freshwater and Dream Catcher signs to alert you to the property lines for the 60 acres.

Overall great exp
The property is great and the cabin itself is very unique and cool. We enjoyed our stay very much. Quiet area with plenty of privacy and all the amenities needed to enjoy a get away. Only not of merit would be that the kitchen utensils are all present by are heavily worn and left us on a couple occasions wishing for a bit higher of quality for meal preparation.

Awesome Place to Stay
I booked this property for a guys fishing trip on the Muskegon river and this place didn’t disappoint. Prior to arrival the host was super responsive to all communication. On the day of arrival the host sent me message to let me know I could check in early. The cabin was clean, the internet (Starlink) was fast, there was plenty of propane for the grill and the back portion of the property along the river where the tepee was set up was a very pleasant surprise. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a great lodging experience in this part of Michigan. I’ll more then likely come back to stay during the next spring steelhead run.

The cabin is beautiful and plenty of room for the 8 of us. It is close to many things to do. We enjoyed our getaway relaxing, trail walking, two tracking to the river and teepee, shopping in White Cloud and Newago, rafting, corn whole, fishing, and outdoor fire at night. I highly recommend. We had one girl take advantage of the jacuzzi, which she enjoyed very much.

Family Weekend
We came to the area for a family wedding about 45 minutes away. This home allowed us (10 people ) to stay together in one home. It rained the entire weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor area which looked so beautiful. The house was spacious and we were grateful for 2.5 baths. The management team was so awesome. The area lost power but they had us up and running with a generator.
