Lovely and newly constructed downtown studio

Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place. Cute little basement studio with every facility you can think of. Walking distance from night life, shopping area, MC hotel and bus to new your city. Across from Montclair museum, and Whole Foods market.

It’s a basement studio and not for tall people. Max hight range from 6.8 to 5.10 feet.

My wife and I will be readily accessible to ensure your needs are met. We love good communication and while we will respect your privacy, will be available to answer any questions you may have.

About 40 Restaurants, several bars and theaters, and super easy NYC transit (Train and Bus) are all literally just a few min walk distance. The basement apt has a great open space, a private entrance, private bathroom, amazing decor, parking and more.
Places to visit in Montclair NJ, Montclair art museum, Van Vleck house and gardens, Tierney's Tavern bar and live music and much more what downtown has to offer all at walking distance.

We make one parking spot available for the guest. Also Montclair has 5 train stations and direct bus to NYC.
Please no partying in the house including no loud music or noise.Please leave the place the way you found it, extra cleaning extra charges. Do not flush paper towels in the toilet. No smoking in the house or on the property. Please park your car in the back parking lot, as Montclair don’t make fun in giving parking tickets. Enjoy your stay. People under the age of 25, we will be needing a security deposit of $1000, as we had a bad experience in past. Deposit is fully refunded once there is no damage.

Awesome spot in great location
Just like it is in the pictures on a quiet street a block from downtown Montclair and a host of restaurants and more. The owner was communicative and super helpful. Worth a stay!

Clean, cozy & great location
Clean, safe & cozy - exactly as described. Location is excellent and walkable to shops & restaurants. The apartment also has a desk & chair (not pictured) which allowed me a nice work space. I experienced a slight issue upon check-in but the host was able to provide resolution.

Location and cleanliness was great. Easy to walk to places and lots of restaurants in the area. Apartment was newly remodeled, very neat and clean. Reason for 4 stars is because of washer and apartment temperature. Washer was coin-operated, but when we tried using the washer, it never turned on after putting coins in and it didn't return all coins either. They offered to leave coins (not returned) on the washer and said they'd make a service call about it. We had already decided to go to a laundromat. The biggest issue for us was the temp control. We arrived on a cold day ~3:00 PM and the apartment was extremely cold. Even my husband thought it was freezing, and he never feels cold. There are vents in the ceiling so we tried looking for the thermostat to control this, but then noticed a floor unit for heat. We had no choice but to use it but it's not ideal since we didn't want to keep it running when we left. It was the next day before they responded and told us there was 1 control and it was located upstairs (not in our unit). We had already figured out the heater on the floor, but had issues with the apartment feeling very warm and stuffy at night (didn't turn the heater on at night, while sleeping). It seemed that when someone was home later in the day/night, they may had adjusted the temp and it inturn effected the comfort of our apartment. The owner did respond to our messages, but it took sometimes >1 day before hearing back.
