This was a shockingly low-quality hotel stay. The only good thing to say about it was the room was huge. That can't make up for the: missing bed sheets, homeless town behind the hotel, dangerous street, disgusting lobby, dust, broken vending, butt-crack out front desk staff. We got stuck here due to fashion week; and we regret not paying a few hundred more dollars to stay elsewhere.

The hotel looks updated from the pictures but there were many things broken and outdated. Lights didnt work, light and registers hanging half way out of the ceiling. Shower didnt work properly. The lobby was missing the Tv and the seats were tore up.

Good safe area, about a 5 minute walk to the subway, pretty convenient. Decently busy street at all hours, faces a high traffic road so you never really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. Hotel room was a little banged up, but in all the ways that matter (bed, tv shower, fridge, iron, even a microwave) it was solid, 4th floor was quiet. All around, you get what you pay for, which in NYC these days is excellent for a hotel especially considering how much every other establishment within an hour's drive/subway of Manhattan is charging these days.

I think this place has gone down hill. The room was pretty nice, as in the past, but the rest of the place seemed a bit dirty. The gym was smelly and had a broken treadmill. Location is fairly convenient but quite unattractive.

Huge room, and it was a nice easy starting point to be able to go see friends in various neighborhoods. I think it used to be an industrial building, however-- and you can still hear the people above you very clearly if, say, they're walking around and fighting at 5am...

The property is exactly as advertised. The room is big and clean. Very close to train stations and convenient stores in the area. I will stay here again if I’m in Brooklyn!

Poor plumbing, gross pillows, cracked tiles in shower, very poor drainage (stood in a deep puddle in the shower) none of the doors closed in the bathroom: toilet, bathroom doors, shower door, strange cheap stretchy cover over the couch, the”city view” was an unhoused encampment, no coffee in the lobby area, no frills at all - very basic, cheap, ugly hotel.
