For the price this hotel is exactly what you're looking for, no frills and incredibly well located. It's not a luxury hotel in the slightest, but that's not the point. They were also very kind and let us leave our bags there post checkout before we made our way home.

Great price and affordable for NYC, however the location was a bit difficult. No elevators in the venue, so those with heavy suitcases or mobility issues may find trouble climbing the stairs.

Old, charming hotel. Bare bones comforts, it felt like a dormitory room. One space heater did not warm both room and bathroom. Bathroom fixtures were temperamental. We went for its location in East Village, easy access from subway and lots of walkable coffee shops and restaurants. Great price.

Good location, easy access to public transport. The area is not the best but it is central to most attactions. The hotel is old and I guess fornthe price it is just fair. The wifi was down for 2 days

The hotel room was very good for its price. Not enough space though but still quite good for a short stay. The hotel management accepts only cash which can be a hassle. They should start accepting credit/debit card payments. The room and bathroom was clean. Heater was there in the room. Will recommend this hotel to everyone who plans a short stay in NYC on a budget.

I was disappointed to find out that this property is CASH ONLY, as it wasn’t clearly mentioned anywhere when I made my reservation. Please make sure to highlight CASH ONLY in capital letters wherever possible. Additionally, inform guests that the property has no elevator and requires navigating many steps, even to access the first floor. This wasn’t an issue for me personally, but it could be a concern for others. I will definitely stay here again. This property provides excellent value for the price.

This is a great place if you’re on a budget and want to see New York City. It’s clean, staff is great, and it’s in a prime location close to the subway or bus lines. We had a great experience here! The restaurant downstairs is 24 hours and had some of the best breakfast options and pizza! There is no elevator and some pretty steep stairs. It is also cash only! We would definitely stay here again for another quick trip!
