The staff was so friendly and helpful. The property was in a great location, right next to the subway entrance, herald square and the empire State building. With no dedicated service elevator for staff use, the elevators were very slow in the mornings but the staff, again, was very friendly. The room was clean, water pressure and temperature good. The only downside was the view. I'm usually a Marriott loyalist, but I'd definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again in the future.

My only issue was the fitness center. Working out is very important to me when I am in a hotel. The elliptical is in very poor shape, very noisy. The peloton is not working correctly at all. There was no TV remote that I could find and at one point both sets were on on different channels at high volume. The elliptical was louder than both. The facilily was clean. It could have more equipment.

Excellent place to stay close to everything, Staff was great. Wonderful continental breakfast. Would stay again. The only thing is the parking situation is confusing, You have to park in the lot a block away. The hotel only validates a $5 discount. So it still $45 out of pocket overnight. No in and out privileges!

We stay at this hotel about once a month. I do not agree that they along with all the other hotels raise the cost 2 and 3 times for December of what they charge throughout the year. We were just there in November and paid a third of what we paid this time. We are back down again in January amd the cost is less. Its the same hotel with no added perks each time. Yet people are taken advantage of because of the time of year.

Love the fact it's right up from Penn Station...right across from Macy*s....can walk about anywhere in Times Square area...Staff was great...breakfast was ok ..a typical hotel breakfast...but good to start your day...if you want more It's NYC go out and get some...will stay again

I liked that I was able to check my luggage in before check in time and then check my luggage in again after I checked out of the hotel. My flight wasn’t until 6pm so it was convenient to check in luggage and come back and get it after exploring all day. My only complaint is that we booked a king size hotel room for a romantic wedding anniversary trip and when we got there at 3pm on the dot they said they ran out of rooms and had switched us to a two double bed room. For the price the beds were uncomfortable and very small for two people. Still expected to pay full price even tho this was an inconvenience for us.

The location was excellent. Easy to reach once exited the Lincoln tunnel and away from the hustle of Times Square. Parking was on the same street. One block from Macy’s. Times Square within a walking distance, about 10 minutes by foot. The one big drawback occurred at check-in. I booked a King and was told it was no longer available and could only give me a 2 double bed room. I had to put up a fight. A hold charge had already appeared on my visa in the morning prior to check in. I was very upset and after all this turmoil I was told they found me a King bed. Was this necessary. No where on the website did it show that rooms can be changed. This experience left be shaken and left me to question what else the hotel could come up with. Did not trust the hotel from that point on and was checking my visa daily to see what extra charges could be placed. I wasn’t sure if I could find another hotel at short notice so I felt forced to stay.
