Great NY City hotel. No it's not super fancy modern hotel... it is a perfect NY City hotel. Staff was great. Great location. yea... bit of street noise...BUT IT'S NEW YORK!!!! I will definitely be back.

Nice little hotel with an old school Hollywood vibe. The opposite of a cookie cutter chain hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Mine was overlooking the garden area so very quiet.

There was no wifi, our key cards kept demagnetizing and cleaning ignored a dnd door sign, but everything was clean and property was quaint and nice.

This was our first time staying in this section of New York city. We absolutely loved the location - near public transport, walking distance to a lot of great cafes and restaurants, and quiet at night. The only issue we had was that our room was on the 5th floor and it was very hard going up the stairs multiple times a day. Next time we'll ask for a room on the lower floors.

5 floors, no elevator. Cute and not crowded, but no amenities, no coffee, no cable, no thermstat, no vendong machine - so if you like quaint and hip, its perfect and if you like Hyatt Express, stay at the chain.

This is a cute hotel and the vintage movie theme is neat. However, if you like the amenities of a Hyatt Express - this is not the hotel for you. You could be on the 5th floor with no elevator. There's no coffee after 10 AM, no cable, no vending machine. On the positive side, it's extremely quiet- they have a tiny seating area and no one was ever there. And the people who work at the front desk rock - they are the nicest people, not customer service robots, just genuinely nice people.

Great stay for a great price. You are able to check in early and leave your bags for a small fee, which is extremely convenient for traveling. Rooms are larger than the pictures show, would recommend!

Iconic, Historic, and Terrific
Chelsea Pines Inn is a unique, historic, and iconic hotel and my stay could not have been better. The woman who checked me in was wonderful and helpful. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was terrific - from the great movie posters, hard-wood floors, and nice layout, it provided the perfect stay for a perfect trip. I look forward to returning soon.
