I liked the area. Was next to a lot of flower shops. I did not like that I purchase a room that said “city view” and the pictures were nothing like the pictures. I didn’t get a city view. All I got was a view of the buildings that were around which was not what the picture showed. I was better off paying for a non city view. So that was disappointing

The staff were great. Hotel was very clean. I didn’t like that the rooms were so minimal. The bathroom had a sink with very little counter. No closet, just a tiny area to hang a few things. One small 2 drawer dresser. Barely any space to put things down, you just had the little cart where they had a coffee maker. A lot of wasted space in my opinion. The one nightstand was taken up by a retro looking Bluetooth speaker. That being said, the hotel was very clean and everyone was very nice. The bathroom sink was leaking and the safe didn’t work and they rectified that right away.

I didn't like the fact that they don't have microwaves in rooms or anywhere in the hotel. I didn't like the fact that the bar was only open from 4-11 on weekends and 4-10 on weekdays. The restaurant only serves breakfast. I did like the staff they were very helpful. The bartender Kelvin was top tier one of the best bartenders I've encountered in hotel bars.

The Aloft King City View was very roomy compared to other NY rooms. Clean and quit. Secure elevators with easy check in and out. Our room was ready at noon, instead of the normal 4pm checkin. Free coffee and water in the lobby daily. Friendly staff. Great a/c in the room. This will be my go-to place on my next trip! Kudos
