We were so pleased to have found The Springer House. It is a clean, well decorated, fully stocked, roomy apartment with a cozy feel and a deck overlooking the Ohio River. Loved the historical info and photos of the building and town.
The accommodations were excellent extremely clean and comfortable the winter evening in New Richmond during a Christmas parade day, including jersey calves and a petting zoo great extremely convenient eating establishments, including Christmas carols made us feel like we’re in a Hallmark movie
Everyone needs some time away. This beautiful historic site, amazing weather, & a quaint town with great atmosphere made for a relaxing girl's weekend.
We had a wonderful time at this charming location. Came to town for a wedding and family visit and loved every minute at this apartment. View was amazing, the town was delightful.
Springer House was perfect for our Thanksgiving holiday. The view of the river and access to the balcony to watch the town decorate for Christmas added the right touch. Highly recommend.
My second stay. It’s everything I need. I noticed little things this time. Master BR table lamps need attention, dust balls behind Master bed on floor near wall, previous renters food left in frig. And some light bulbs out. Maybe a deeper cleaning will take care of that. I mention that only for your benefit.
We came in to watch a baseball game at Great American Ballpark. We spent the week exploring Cincinnati and Louisville. We were centrally located with easy access to a whole week of great activities.
This is a nice big apartment and we had a great time despite the weather. The river was beautiful in the morning! My boys enjoyed air hockey and chess. Thanks for sharing your place!
Our stay at Christian's was perfect! I invited family to stay at the Riverview 3 bedroom apartment. The apartment is spacious with very comfortable beds. We all loved the balcony with a great view of the Ohio river and beyond to Kentucky. We ate at the restaurant next door and had delicious burgers. The Wholly Bean coffee shop had delicious breakfast options and FANTASTIC peppermint hot chocolate. The area was fun to explore! Having 3 bathrooms made everyone happy! I would definitely stay again.
The Springer House was a perfect location for us, since it is only about 6 miles from Emmett Ridge Farm (the wedding venue). The property is spacious, and a delightful mix of original charm and modern conveniences. We loved the Front Street Cafe next door, and found the local residents to be extraordinarily friendly. The river view from the dining room table was beautiful and relaxing. We loved hearing the barges go by!
Whether you are on the balcony or sitting in the open-concept living area, the river is right there! So great!
The apartment is nicely upgraded, but they were careful to maintain its historic integrity. There are comfortable beds and enough bathrooms for everybody.
Christian was the best host. He and his wife have thought of all the conveniences their guests might need.
If you are looking for a place to stay in this area , look no more.
My family and I (wife and 3 teens) stayed at the Springer House in August as we didn't want to stay in Cincinnati. We spend three days in the city for Tennis, Baseball, and site seeing and each day we looked forward to coming back to New Richmond to relax at night. The rental had everything we needed, an excellent kitchen and living room with big windows looking out at the river - just as the pictures show. My boys enjoyed watching TV at night while my daughter had her own room and TV to wind down in. All three liked the foosball table and air hockey. As for the adults, our favorite part was people watching on the balcony! The street was fun. There are a few restaurants next door with good food and patrons. The beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy and the owners were responsive and not invasive. This was a pleasant stay and good value for the location and accommodations. Thanks!
We loved the apartment. We all had plenty of room. It was very clean. It was decorated so beautifully! Bright and open floor. The balcony made it exceptional! Watch the barges go by on the river. Visit with the locals walking down the street. It's quaint and so welcoming! We will definitely plan on going back.
