The Moon - Quonset Hut Vacation Rental Heated Pool

City of New Orleans Licensed Bed and Breakfast. Welcome to the Moon, a WW2 era Quonset Hut. Award winning architecture and contemporary living in a historic neighborhood. This mid-century modern building hosts you and up to 12 of your friends in 6 private rooms. Each with en suite bathroom. Walking distance to Crescent Park at Piety St., Pizza Delicious, The Country Club, Satsuma, Bywater Bakery, Sneaky Pickle, Frady's and more. Street Parking.

The Space:
Six bedrooms opening to a common courtyard. Each room has it's own ensuite bathroom and a/c unit. No walk throughs here. Tons of privacy! All beds are queens size beds.

Guest Access:
Access to six bedrooms that open to onto a courtyard. Each room has it’s own restroom. Kitchen and living room upstairs.

The Neighborhood:
There is street parking available. I ask that you park across the street or around the corner on Royal so that my neighbors can park in front of their houses.

Getting Around:
We are twenty-five to thirty minutes from the airport and a three minute Uber or Lyft to the quarter. You can also walk to the quarter through Crescent Park along the river in fifteen to twenty minutes.

Interaction with Guests:
As the host, I won’t always greet you as you arrive because we have codes for entry. I do, however, live in the rear of the space in separate quarters. I will occasionally pass by the courtyard to my space in the rear of the building. I’m always happy to give recommendations and chat a bit if guests would like to. Please let all of your guests know that I do live on the property so I don’t surprise them. =]
