We enjoyed our stay in the Lanaux Mansion. We hoped to peak into the Benjamin Button room, but it was not accessible. The kitchenette was nice to have for early morning coffee before the short walk over to Cafe Du Monde for the beignets. We had the entire second floor which worked well for three couples. There are two bathrooms for three couples in this arrangement, which worked for us. Be aware that Esplanade ave can be rather loud during city events. We visited during the French Quarter Festival and experienced some noise until early morning. The lanaux suite and attached room were definitely quieter, so if night noises keep you awake, stay there. Communication with and responsiveness of the owner was good. A very enjoyable stay in a unique and historic building and place. We would stay here again!
