Mid City 2 BR in Beautiful Arts and Crafts House

The house is an early 20th century Arts & Crafts style triplex, original details intact, woodwork, oak floors and bathroom tile.

We try to provide an experience we would expect, nice linens and towels, well equipped kitchen (with knives that are sharp!)


We live on the other side and a regular tenant lives downstairs. This is not a party house, we're looking for quiet guests who will enjoy our home and neighborhood. At least one of the guests must be over 21. We are just four blocks from the Canal Street streetcar line, which will take you to City Park and the cemeteries in one direction or downtown and the French Quarter in the other.

Late check-in is fine, because the door is operated with the code and not a key.

If you need two bedrooms in New Orleans at a reasonable price, this is a good place. It was comfortable, well located for our needs, quiet and well equipped. I would stay there again.

NOLO sweet
This is a very well-provisioned, shotgun-style rental home with plenty of features true to its era. The neighborhood odd calm and quiet, and there is easy access to the trolley on Canal Street. It’s a long ride to the French Quarter, but you’re on a trolley—one of the enduring icons of New Orleans! The owners were very responsive, they communicated thoroughly and proactively, and they graciously accommodated a late schedule change that delayed our arrival by a week.

The home was amazing. Well stocked for all your basic needs, the property owners were very helpful if we needed anything and super easy to communicate with. What a gem!
Everything about this property was as described and more. The location was perfect for our needs. This apartment (a unit in tri-Plex) is clean, warm and safe. Quiet neighborhood. Location is easy walk to Canal Street street car line. No need for rental car if you are staying in the City. Having host next door is nice for any questions or issues which may arise. Would definitely stay here again.
