The staff was very nice! The bar downstairs was wonderful also. Overall very clean, although sometimes the bath towels had hair on it that wasn't ours even after being replaced.

This hotel is a true gem. It’s an older building, rooms are modest but clean. The decor is art deco with a NOLA twist. The staff are friendly, professional, and very accommodating.

The International House was a fun place to stay. My room was small but comfortable. The lobby is filled with art, and the owner changes the art regularly. It is a bit like staying in a museum. The staff was friendly and everything was immaculately clean. The outside walls are not terribly soundproof, and I could hear loud conversations on the street many floors beneath me. The hotel appears not to have a service elevator; so during the day, I did have to share elevator space with vacuums and other cleaning necessities. These are nitpicking complaints. This really is a wonderful property with an amazing staff.

Very much looking forward to coming back to the rock star room in the future. While we could hear people through the walls on occasion it very much quieter down at night, but I would take into consideration that more busy times like holidays may be louder (which I imagine is an issue at all hotels in the area) Our mini fridge wasn’t working when we arrived, we let from desk know and it was fixed in a couple hours. Be aware they will charge $15 per night for amenities upon checkout. We didnt expect this but were so in a rush to get to the airport we just paid it. I’m not sure if that’s normal for hotels. I guess electricity and water are $15 per day? That’s why I brought the service rating down a star.

My stay was great! Location is very convenient and close to everything. Room was very nice and clean. Only issue I had was finding good parking. Overall it was a nice experience. Shoutout to the lady receptionist who was very kind and made the check in/out process quick.
