After spending an arm and a leg to stay near convention center, we got a room on 2nd floor facing the stores and no privacy whatsoever as the shutters open wide so we havmd keep them closed even during daytime to inhibit onlookers from looking inside the room. Also, cleanliness was am ussue with us findings bugs in our room. And, the breakfast had nothing stocked except bread. Total waste if money and precious family vacation time. Also, this hotel is far from Jackson Square, riverwalk, and Bourbon street and they charde $35 plus tax for valet parkimg which is actually the only parking for the hotel. Total rip-off. Very first bad experience at Hyatt Place so far from all the ones over the years we have visited.
