Charming Historic Home Near French Quarter - Cozy & Convenient!

THIS HOME IS TRULY COMFORTABLE, SUPER CLEAN and AMAZING! We have been accommodating guest for over 15 years and specialize in DELIVERING a comfortable experience for all of our Guest! Just read our reviews!

The Main home features 3 bedrooms and can sleep 6, each bedroom has custom bathrooms with stand-up showers and beautiful granite counter tops. The home has a large open floor plan including large dining room/ living room and large laundry room. The custom kitchen Features everything you need to fix a meal for your friends and family.

This home also Features a detached apartment that sleeps 2 with a queen bedroom/living room private full kitchen, bathroom and laundry room. Please note The apartment is raised and has a full set of stairs. Not recommended for people having trouble with stairs.

We are nestled only 4 miles from the French Quarter. It is only a 10-15 minute cab, Uber or Lyft ride away. We are on a corner lot, right across the street from the best Poboy diner in town- Arabi Food Store. They have great breakfast and lunch specials.
Old Historic Arabi Neighborhood is Safe & convenient.

We provide - Standard Coffee Pot/one cup, coffee filters, Paper towels, Trash Bags, Toilet Paper, hand soaps, Detergents, Iron and ironing Board, and blow dryers.

About our area:
The area known as Old Arabi is made up of two historic districts: The Old Arabi Historic District, 150 acres bordering Jackson Barracks and the Mississippi River including parts of Mehle, Angela, and Esteban Streets, and the Friscoville Street Historic District, 160 acres from the 100-900 blocks of Friscoville. Old Arabi was named one of America's Prettiest Painted places in a 2012 nationwide search conducted by the Paint Quality Institute of America for the stunning use of color on the area's elaborate historical homes and buildings. It's close proximity to the French Quarter and no shortage of things to do right around our home, this is the perfect location to soak up everything Nola has to offer.

Getting Around our area:
New Orleans is a small city, which makes getting around a breeze in an Uber or Lyft. The French Quarter is an 15 minute drive away, which will never run you more than $15-20 depending on events and holiday seasons, which is even more affordable when you split it with your group!

Great place to stay for eight people visiting NO
Perfect place stay for four couples visiting New Orleans. House was well located and comfortable. Everything was clean (other than the shower curtain in the guest apartment) and well stocked. Good communications from host. Would definitely stay there again.

As a frequent traveler, I alway choose to stay in vacation rentals. This is one of the best homes I’ve booked. It was very clean, spacious, and had all the things we needed. I really enjoyed looking at the flipbook of how the home was renovated to its look today. Amazing work! The store next door was a great plus and served really good breakfast. The community was quiet which was great for us. Communication with the owner was easy. She even called to ensure we checked in properly. If I’m ever back in the NO area, I hope to book again.

The property was beautiful and more than adequate for our family of 8 adults--plenty of space to spread out. Location was good, except for having to go thru a 'sketchy' area to/from NO french quarter. Property in a very quiet, well-kept neighborhood.

Family Vacation
My Family stayed at this Beautiful home in August 2022 for 5 days. The home was very beautiful. It was clean and spacious. Our adult children stayed in the main house and my husband and I stayed in the cozy apartment in the rear of the house. It was very nice. Just enough room for us. We would definitely come back and rent this beautiful home! The cost was extremely reasonable and we loved the restaurant next door! Amazing food and very nice people.

House is perfect and in a perfect neighborhood. We LOVED it!!
My only problem was the master bedroom and the bedroom directly across from the master the tv remotes would not work. We had to download the Roku remote to utilize both tvs.

From check in to check out this stay was perfect. The house is beautiful and clean. It fit our family perfectly. The host is fast to respond to everything we asked. The location was just what we needed, close enough to places but not that busy. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly. We will be looking to go back on our next trip. I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking. It is not to big, nor to small, it is just right!

AMAZING
The home was big, beautiful ,clean, with everything you need . it was close to a lot of stores ,restaurants, liquor store, hair,spa,nails. And a cross the street is a great store with great food . every room has a bathroom , all cabs new where to come too. We was also 7-13 min away from downtown,canal,bourbon,french quarters. Its the best polace i ever been too

The house was beautiful! It was so nice that every bedroom had a bathroom. The open concept made it very easy for everyone to visit. The king size bed was so comfy. The place was very clean. We all loved the restaurant next door. The food was delicious and the people were so nice! We were sad they closed on Saturday and Sunday. Gerald’s has the best doughnuts and Consecos grocery store had everything. It was a wonderful weekend!

The property was wounderful! I like that all the bedrooms each had there own bathroom. The property was very clean and great for entertaining. The store next door had a great breakfast. The property is about 3miles from the French quarter. It was sometimes hard to get an Uber due to the holiday weekend. However, they have a local cab service that was helpful.

Great place to stay in New Orleans
The home was emaculant! There was plenty space for everyone (party of 8). The home was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. The home is exactly how it is in the pictures. The home has pretty much everything you need. The only thing is that I wish we had been able to experience the store across the street for it was closed during our stay. I would definitely book this property again. Thank you Jami!
