The house was perfect for our group. The kitchen is great as is the whole house. It had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. The location is amazing with a short walk to St. Charles. We will be staying here again!
This house could comfortably fit all 10 people we had stay plus more! It is spacious and airy. Easy to get to and felt safe. Would definitely stay here again.
Pros: Great location, plenty of space for our family of 9 adults. Good beds, nice, well provisioned kitchen, washer/ dryer, good parking.
Cons: lots of maintenance issues, no blinds/window coverings in front bedroom, wifi very unreliable- needed resetting several times a day, not enough seating in the living room for the number of guests that could stay there.
Myself and 10 friends stayed for my bachelorette weekend and couldn’t have asked for a better house. Plenty of room for everyone, the house was beautiful and clean, and being a few minutes walk away from the street car was very convenient. Property managers shared a lot of great information and were easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend to anyone with a large group!
House was great for a large group of girls. Location was perfect in walking distance to the local tram line. Not a great spot to walk around at night, but uber/lyft is affordable in NOLA.
Comfy, clean, beautiful home. Very elegant living space. Living room area was a great hangout spot for our big group and the dining room was nice place to have our dinner the one night we ate in. There were towels galore and shampoo/conditioner/body wash if you forgot any toiletries. Our only complaint was we wished there were some extra blankets available but all in all it was perfect ! Nice location- walking distance to some restaurants and shops, safe. Close to everything!
We were in New Orleans for our daughters graduation. This was an ideal location for our entire family to gather together, attend all of the events, enjoy restaurants, and then come back together at the end of the day to celebrate. Thank you!
The property and location was excellent. Josh was vey accommodating via messaging. My family didn’t have any issues, very spacious for 11. We would stay again. Easy access to location, nightlife, restaurants, and host.
The host was super accommodating! We had some items shipped to the house before our stay and he kept them safe for us until the arrival. He also offered grocery pick up, shared locker storage info for pre check in, ride share services, and recommendations for NOLA. 10/10 would recommend for any bachelorette or large group stay!
Very clean and well furnished. Great location about 1 1/2 blocks from street car. Transitional neighborhood, some newly renovated and others in need of a little TLC. Good communication with property manager. Initial problem with 2nd floor A/C, but handled promptly.
Three generations came to NOLA to spend Easter with our Tulane student. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. This property had ample parking, easy access to the streetcar and a beautiful new interior which preserved and highlighted the beauty of this classic house. We made good use of the kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Appliances were new. We recommend and look forward to booking again for our next visit.
The house was perfect. We selected the house to celebrate the 70th birthday of a family member. We had three generations of our family with us ranging from 3 years old to 71 years old. Everyone enjoyed it. There was plenty of room so we didn’t feel crowded, so convenient to the street car and beautiful St. Charles Avenue, the apartment itself was amazing and our property host was responsive to all our needs. We will definitely return if we are in need of a place that size again.

Great Place
This ultimately was an amazing place for a big group but there are a few things that were not so great. The place is beautiful, but it is old and some minor things happened. When we arrived, we smelled a natural gas leak coming from the laundry room, I reached out to the host and almost immediately they sent their plumber out which was fantastic - we also could not turn off the bathroom sink in the master bathroom, which the plumber also did fix. The master bathroom shower was not very clean, the tiles were very slippery as if they haven’t been cleaned and the grout between the back splash had pink mold in between. The shower on the second floor had very little water pressure.
The kitchen sink had absolutely 0 water pressure which made doing dishes complicated.
The yard was nice, but there was a piece of wood hanging from the doorway that could honestly have fallen at any given time on to one of the guests. Especially with all the rain we received. The water was coming in from the doorway and puddled into the kitchen entry making the floor very slick, we had to lay down a towel due to no floor mat.
We got a lot of rain this weekend and the upstairs shared bedroom had a leak in the ceiling and my friend got rained on in bed while sleeping. When we reached out to the host they simply said thanks for letting us know. There were cockroach traps through out the house but we never saw one. We enjoyed our stay but those were the things we came across. Beautiful space otherwise!
Beautiful property but we can’t recommend until many small fixes are made before the next rental
A beautiful property in a great location near St. Charles and its streetcar lines. The old home appears to have been completely rebuilt on the inside, with modern fixtures, clean lines, and good room arrangements (although one “bedroom” had no windows and a low ceiling that 6-footers will want to avoid). Strong wi-fi on all three levels of the house. Kitchen and bathrooms have all new stone/marble countertops. Kitchen has new appliances. Flatscreen TVs throughout, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. Memory foam mattresses on all the beds. Nice linens and towels. New and refinished hardwood floors. Plenty of space for our family group of 12 (adults and 1 teen). Friendly management who responded promptly to our messages through the VRBO app.
But …
New construction means small “punch list” deficiencies that must be identified and remedied. Many of these items were not fixed prior to our rental, making our stay less comfortable than it should have been. Given the full-market rent charged at this property, these items—all of which could easily have been addressed—became even more annoying. A sample:
• The first of our group to arrive found the kitchen floor flooded. Why? Someone (cleaning crew?) left the kitchen tap open, a towel blocking the drain, and an overflowing sink. We spent the first 20 minutes in the house mopping up water.
• Low water pressure in the kitchen and one of the double sinks in an upstairs bathroom. So low in the kitchen that the spray head would not come on, making dish cleaning laborious. And the bath sink had just a trickle, rendering it almost useless.
• Nice powder bathroom on the main floor with sink and toilet. But the sink drain was seriously clogged, making the sink useless.
• No towel bars in any of the bathrooms and no useable hooks; also, no shelves for clean clothes—a real pain when trying to find a place to dry towels and store clean clothes when dressing.
• No dressers/shelves in any of the bedrooms for clothes or other items.
• Too few hangers in each closet (hardly enough for 12 people).
• Some roaches. Not an invasion, but some pest control is needed.
• And to come full circle: Heavy rain on the day we were leaving poured through the French doors in the kitchen, which had absolutely no weatherstripping on them. We mopped up, just as we did when we first came.
Management noted our concerns and did bring more towels but did not repair or remedy any of the issues we identified.
Rarely do you find a home with 7 beds all kings and queens. 3 floors made it perfect for privacy. 4 bathrooms was a huge plus This house is conveniently located close to tram and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay on our girls trip. We would happily come back to this home.
This home is 1 1/2 blocks from St. Charles Ave. which makes it easy to walk to the streetcar and travel into the Downtown and French Quarter area safely. We were celebrating the 18th birthday of a granddaughter and meeting with financial and legal to update WILLS. There were 7 of us. This home could have easily handled more. We cooked breakfast every day and headed out to enjoy the sights and sounds of New Orleans. The host provided great detailed instructions and responded immediately to questions. The property was very nice. They have revitalized a very old property and made it extremely comfortable. You do need to be comfortable climbing stairs as all of the bedrooms are on either the 2nd or 3rd floors. They are huge with comfortable bedding, great central HVAC, and new ceiling fans. This worked beautifully for our family and we would certainly reserve this property again. Thank you to the host!
The location of this house is excellent: within walking distance from many restaurants and easy access to the streetcar. The beds are comfortable and plentiful! It’s also a gorgeous, older home with beautiful detail! There were plenty of glasses and plates for any meal we brought back to the house, too, and plenty of shared space to hang out while eating or chatting.
All that being said, it’s just a VRBO. It has the basics but not much extra. Amenities are minimal: plenty of kitchenware for basic kitchen tasks; plenty of towels but not many places to hang them and no hand towels for the bathrooms; no extra blankets but plenty of pillows; a nice couch and a couple chairs but not a lot of comfortable furniture to hang out on.
We would absolutely recommend this space for a family or large friend get together, especially if you’re going to be spending time in the French Quarter but want the change of pace in the Garden District. Plus the house and neighborhood are beautiful!
The whole stay was great! I had nothing but amazing communication with the property owners and they were so quick to resolve any issues that we did have. This was the perfect stay for my friends and I and would 100% book here again!
The home was nice and large enough. It rained a lot and we had to clean water up throughout on multiple occasions . Water in kitchen did not get hot but was hot in the shower. The cleaning was okay but could use a deep clean. Overall the stay was good and I would stay again. Location was good and close to everything.
