Great little spot!
First off, the house and grounds are lovely. You can see they put alot into renovations, and take great care. Its secure and private as well, and really clean. Overall I'd recommend. The only detractors for this unit is that its a bit tight for more than one person. I traveled with my son, and didnt realize we actually booked a 1 bdrm, but we made it work. But its perfect for a couple or single traveler. Monique was thoughtful and responsive. Bonus points for good taste in art and books! I'd stay again on an adult-only trip for sure. Some tips: get the Jazzy Pass, its 3 for all transit. The 55 bus takes you right to the french quarter, the stop is just 2 blocks away, and is nice and quick. Also there's a direct transit (202) to the airport that connects with the 55, Really easy to get around, and folks are super sweet and helpful.

Bright, quaint
We stayed 6 days, was close to the French Quarter which is where we started most days. Neighborhood was quiet (with the exception of New Year’s Eve of course). Our host was very helpful in recommending places to eat and the best ways to get around. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and very well designed. The property is excellent! The only thing is the area didn't feel very safe, so we didn't walk to and from the centre. Bus very close and Uber rather cheap. So no problems 😃

Overnight Stay
Property Manager/Property was great!!! Last minute booking. In and out for an overnight stay due to traveling. This Property offered just enough space and the price was great. I would definitely stay/recommend this Property.

A Place to Stay
You will be happy to know that there is a gate, it felt necessary. Overall a decent room, but as tourists, it is in an unsettling area, as described unprompted by every Uber driver that picked us up or dropped us off throughout the weekend. It was only a 10-15 minute drive to the best of what the city has to offer, which is most likely where you’ll spend your time! We didn’t meet Monique but she was very quick with communication. Nice bathroom but shower had a drainage issue. Would not suggest to solo female travelers.

Fit for Purpose!
My husband and I took a road trip down to NOLA for the Jazz Fest last month and stayed at Monique's place for 8 nights (apologies to Monique for the delay on this review - I thought it had submitted when I wrote it on the road originally!). We needed a place big enough for us both to do some work during the day and in a location within reasonable walking distance to the Fairgrounds. This unit was perfect for our needs! :) Super clean, lovely decor, comfortable bed, and the little kitchenette had just the right amount of function we required. Monique is a welcoming host and had stocked the kitchenette with coffee/tea/water and some little snacks to boot! The touristy downtown is a short uber/taxi ride away - the cost was approximately ~$15 outside of the normal Jazz Fest closing time when the prices normally surge. We would definitely recommend this place!

Jazz Fest Weekend Stay
Monica was such a wonderful, thoughtful, and gracious host! Her place was clean, cozy, and charming; small footprint, but very comfortable and well laid out, not at all claustrophobic. There’s a roomy shower, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, and drink fridge. Monica also included coffee pods, tea bags, disposable cups, and bottled water. My husband and I stayed for the first weekend of Jazz Fest. We had an easy 30 min walk to the fairgrounds each day, which saved us the hassle and cost of transportation. Additionally, there are a multitude of different styles of restaurants available within a short driving distance.

Wonderful host, very cute space
The space was very cozy and cute, a bit tight but perfect for those traveling solo or spending lots of time exploring. It is far enough from the main part of the city to enjoy the true new orleans community and close enough to be easily accessible by bus, bike, or even walking. The host was so incredible, very accomodating and made sure we felt comfortable in the space. I will say that because it is connected to what I assume to be another rental, at times you could hear others talking or walking through the walls and ceiling as I am sure they could hear us at times. Wasn't a big deal for us but may be to you. It is a beautiful space and you can tell the host cares about her property. Would 100% book again and highly recommend.

Nice little studio apartment type of place. Very clean and comfortable for one, maybe two people. Mostly very quiet area. Almost most a food desert, but one nice convenience store a few blocks away.

Nice and cozy place to stay in NOLA
The appartment is very nice and cozy and Monique is an absolutely great host, she was very quick in responding to my questions and willing to help. Check-in was without any problems, there even is an iron in the appartment, a TV and a coffee machine. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer. Also the tiny oven causes the the firealarm right beside easily, so you may want to be aware of this. The location of the appartment is a little oudside, a continuous walk from Frenchman street straight up. The neighborhood seemed safe most the time, but it is way outside of any touristic area. It is walkable from the French Quarter, and I assume, much easier to reach by car. The public transport was only half the time running as expected, maybe due to Mardi Gras. In total a very beautiful and recommendable place to stay.
