A friend and I did an overnight trip to Peddler's Village to start off the holiday shopping season. We stayed in the main inn and were impressed by its coziness. Since it's located in the Peddler's Village, it the walkabilty and convenience can't be beat.
In addition to the main building, there are rooms interspersed within the village and have parking at the door. Note that parking for the main building is across the street on the far side of a field, although there are a few handicapped spaces at the entrance. So to avoid schlepping your luggage across the field, check in and drop off your bags before parking.
At first glance, the rooms are clean and inviting. However, they probably should do a periodic inspection under the beds and removing cushions from the chairs. My friend misplaced her jewelry bag and we spent a frantic half hour looking for it. During the search, I found a pair of someone's shorts underneath one of the beds and peanuts and other food crumbs under the cushion of the chair.
Would I return to the Golden Plough? Yes, absolutely.
