Amazing New Haven Apartment!!
Marc is a superior host, so helpful. Met us on arrival w/a quick tour and lots of recommendations. Great location close to places to eat, walking distance to Yale, quick on/off I91 if driving anywhere outside of NH. Highest recommendation and can’t wait to stay there again

Great apartment in a great location
This was our second time staying at Marc’s lovely property. Nice apartment in a great location, exactly as pictured. Marc is a wonderful host who left lots of goodies for our family to enjoy and was very easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning next time we are in town!

Terrific and Convenient Spot to Campus, Great Host
*starting this with a caveat that VRBO can drop the ball and contacting the host before reserving can save you some headaches. With that said, the place was great, Marc was a conscientious and terrific host going above and beyond to make certain our stay was great. It was fantastically convenient to campus and easy walk to most things. Would not hesitate to stay again when visiting and/or working in New Haven.

Great wedding weekend
This penthouse apartment was perfect for my wife and I and our adult daughter when we came to New Haven for a wedding. The space is lovely, and both mornings we enjoyed our tea and coffee on the outdoor terrace. It's a lovely quiet neighborhood and only about a 15 minute walk to Yale old campus. Marc was wonderful about sharing information and check in details, and the milk and snacks he left meant we didn't need to go out for anything! A wonderful stay in a really wonderful place!

Super cute and clean. Beds were comfy. Stairs were a lot if you have an issue with stairs but otherwise, fine. Great location to explore New Haven 👍🏻

Great location, fabulous place, wonderful host
This cute apartment is conveniently located with respect to the Yale campus. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is nicely stocked. Marc (the host) is incredibly accommodating, even left snacks in the kitchen. I'll definitely try to stay here again if I return to New Haven.

Outstanding accommodation
The property is superior to others at which we have stayed. Both in our early 70s, we found Marc, the landlord, to be exceptionally helpful, the property was beautifully appointed and perfectly positioned for walking to Yale and the shopping centre. We will definitely be repeating our stay.

Excellent stay!
We had a great experience staying at the penthouse. We traveled from California and it was the best place to walk into after a long day of travel — clean, warm, and homey. Marc provided helpful directions that made checking in and out a breeze. The penthouse is conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and the Yale campus. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Property in Fantastic Location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, very well-appointed apartment! Marc obviously cares about every detail; he went out of his way to ensure that our needs were met. The apartment is close to campus and some great restaurant and coffee options. Would happily book again!

Perfect stay
The spot can’t be beat! The space is beautiful, centrally located, and comfortable. Marc was incredibly welcoming and made sure every step of our stay went smoothly. He went above and beyond to meet me and make sure I was situated comfortably with coffee, tea, treats and oat milk for a weekend return to New Haven. We are so appreciative.

Urban Penthouse Paradise
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during my college reunion. The townhouse was located close to the reunion headquarters. The host, Marc, was most accommodating and provided all details needed for our stay. The apartment is well furnished and equipped, and Marc provided some extras that were very much appreciated. We also enjoyed having breakfast on the sunny deck. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Home away from home
We had an amazing stay at the condo. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bedrooms had great storage for our things and the beds were very clean. I am a very picky person and I was happy. The host Marc was by far the best host anyone could wish for when visiting a city. He communicated with us very effectively and left a variety of drinks and snacks. He even left us a card welcoming us to his place. We were in town visiting our son who is a freshman at Yale. We have traveled all over the world and I can honestly say Marc was my favorite host and this place is my new home away from home. Thank you Marc for making everything so wonderful for us.

The apartment was clean and spacious . Marc had it well stocked with some delicious treats and coffee/seltzer/ water. He was easy to contact , and check in and out were simple. The stairs up to the apartment were challenging but a good work out. We loved the patio to sit out in the morning or evening. The sunsets were beautiful. The only reason I didn’t give it all 5 stars is because the other people in the building didn’t keep their place as nice Marc and you could see their apartments from the patio. Would recommend the Penthouse and Marc.

Exceeded our expectations
As a family, we love to use VRBO when possible to locate and stay in homes and condos vs hotels while on vacation. We stayed at Marc’s penthouse condo in August to send our baby off to college at Yale. We were thrilled to have the extra bedroom so our oldest daughter, who lives and works in NY, could join us. Marc’s place is absolutely darling. Despite the fact it is in a very old building and most places in the area do not have air conditioning, Marc’s place was well equipped with air and extremely comfortable. There is even a little deck outside the kitchen area where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Marc was very thoughtful to provide a few snacks and fresh hydrangeas upon our arrival. We are already booked to stay here again!

Completely satisfied with our stay
We've rented many properties through various well known intermediaries (including VRBO) and it usually boils down to the same things to make it a good stay: 1) quality of the unit itself; 2) quality of the neighborhood; 3) communication with owner; 4) ease of check-in/out etc. This property nails it on all accounts. The "penthouse" itself was very clean, has excellent natural light (even on rainy days) and is decorated with a cool MCM vibe. The property is in an interesting professional neighborhood (the building is primarily doctor's offices so very quiet) - we felt safe walking at all times of the day and night and enjoyed eyeballing the architecture of the surrounding houses. The communication from Marc was great. He was very concientious about getting us set up and ensuring all was well. Check in/out was seemess with the lockbox. It worked great for our family of 4. He also left a very nice assortment of goodies that the whole team enjoyed. The only caveat I would have is if you have mobility issues, you might want to re-think. Being a penthouse without elevator, it requires the ability to navigate several flights of stairs for ingress/egress. Not an issue for us at all but might be for some. New Haven is a cool town with interesting places to eat and has a very walkable downtown. Don't miss the museums at Yale or the hike from Sleeping Giant State Park (awesome in the fall). If/when we find ourselves back in town, I wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit again. Thanks for everything Marc.

We had a wonderful stay. The owner had prepared everything so well for us, even providing some yummy treats for our stay. The apartment was very close to everything we needed to get to on campus. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for campus accommodation.

The penthouse has everything you could need for a comfortable stay in New Haven. I loved the patio and beautiful view over the rooftops. The location is fantastic especially if you’re visiting the Yale campus (includes off-street parking). And Marc’s hospitality is unmatched!

Great location near to everything
We really enjoyed out stay, the apartment was in a great location, close to everything and very safe. When we arrived it as already stocked with essentials which was really helpful as we arrived quite late. The rooms were lovely and the beds very comfortable. Amazing Bagel restaurant "Begelry" was 3min walk and was fantastic for breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to New Haven!

Marc was extremely helpful throughout then entire check in, stay and checkout process. Our needs were completely met (he also gives great food recommendations). Overall was an incredible experience and will definitely be coming back if I’m ever in that area.
