"Let me first start with the snow, 28 inches and counting. It’s important to mention that as when we arrived in white out conditions to visit SUNY Oswego, we were tired and worried. I rushed into the lobby to check in. The owner and manager, Rajesh Modi, was there. He finished with the other check in and then started the check in with me. Somehow I booked a smoking room, and I don’t smoke. When checking in he confirmed the room, said, you don’t smoke? Let me change the room for you. I was relieved. Then we chatted about the storm and reason for my visit. I mentioned my child and he said, but you have a single queen, let me fix this for you and did with no extra charge. He explained the area, gave me a map. States that the room had heat running high for me so we would up quickly. It was so reassuring and comforting. He was knowledgeable, gentle and professional. The room is super clean, WiFi accessible with no issues, restaurants and shopping nearby. He really took the time to make a bad situation better. We were comfortable and warm and safe. In the morning, another 12 inches of snow, but everything was shoveled and plowed. Although I’m a light sleeper, I heard nothing outside the window. Amazing!! I would definitely stay here again!"

"Pros: hotel & room were clean, has a decent breakfast, staff was very informative & helpful. Was quiet for the most part. Cons: for the pool area - as a hotel guest you aren’t allowed to use the captains club locker rooms. Which allows only one bathroom for every family that’s getting ready in & out of the pool area. There is only enough toiletries in a room for one person. (As a family of 4, staying multiple nights we needed to keep asking for more) We put the ‘make up room’ doorknob sign & that was skipped over by the housekeepers so I’m not sure why that was. On our last night, we were woken up every few hours from intoxicated groups of people who were yelling and laughing in the hallways. I would go here again, aware of circumstances. It was pretty good minus slight inconveniences. "
