Breathe in the salty air from the deck of your cabin perched on the edge of a working harbor. Hear the low rumble of the boats and watch lobster fisherman unloading their catch, preserving their traditional way of life. So close to the harbor you feel a part of the action, even from inside. This vintage 1960's 2 bedroom cabin has remained unchanged for decades. 4 cabins in total~ this one is the second closest from the water. The view looks like a postcard and is spectacular.
Simple, uncluttered furnishings & spectacular harbor views. Rustic, cabin-like knotty pine walls, no television but strong wifi. The harbor view deck has a couple of chairs and your own small gas grill nearby. This cabin is the second closest to the harbor with unobstructed views of all harbor activity ~from your living room chairs.
There are 2 equal sized bedrooms. One with a king bed with a new memory foam mattress, the other two twin beds. The bathroom and kitchen have been recently updated..
The cabin is charmingly rustic with thoughtful and unique touches. As pine walls don't buffer much sound, this cabin may be best suited to a couple, family, or close friends.
A shared pier and float in front of the property is available for launching kayaks (not included) or just hanging out. The float is smack dab in the center of the harbor. Sitting there you can't help feel part of the action. Watch the lobster docks up close as the fishermen unload their daily haul. Relax & restore while the tides, birds, and fisherman guide your daily schedule.
There is a shared fire pit for guests use overlooking the harbor. Great for gathering and relaxing any time of the day.
Each cabin has it's own lobster pot. If you'd prefer to cook lobster outside, next to the fire pit we have a propane tank hooked up to a large lobster pot burner.
Pemaquid Beach is a beautiful sandy beach 1.6 miles away. It offers restrooms, outdoor showers, changing rooms & beach chair and umbrella rentals. It is a calm water beach.
