I really appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was with pots and pans that you can actually cook with compared to most VRBO's. Only drawback is that the area isn't really walkable. "The place has stunning views from just about every window. Taunton Lake is so serene and the surrounding area has so much local charm. The beds were comfy and the amenities were abundant. I hope to be back again someday."

"This was just what we were looking for. The house was roomy, open and charming. It was also relaxing to sit on the back deck surrounded by trees and listening to the calming sound of the brook. It felt like you out in the countryside yet the cute village of Sandy Hook along with Newtown restaurants and shopping were less than 10 minutes away."

"The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding."

"Our family had a great stay at this home on Candlewood Isle. The owners were very friendly and left out snacks and such that my toddler loved. The house is clean and well kept and has a charming yard and deck. Really enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us too. Highly recommend!"
