Come enjoy this unique Lakeview home! Nestled in a private community with 3 private sand beaches, enjoy the mountain views with kayaks included. Immaculate and Impeccably designed to the highest standards, central air, private driveway, fully equipped kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms it will feel like your own home sweet home! The master suit features sweeping lake views from the comfort of a tempurpedic king bed. Across from the mast suite is the second bedroom with a full and twin bunk bed set. There is also a desk setup as a mini office to work from while looking directly out at the water. On the main level of the home is the 3rd bedroom with a queen bed. There is another office desk set up in the room as well, featuring more lake views while you work. Enjoy the walk out deck that overlooks the lake with a grill and plenty of seating to enjoy the outdoors and soak up the sun at night enjoy an amazing ambiance as the outdoor string lights kick on. Childproof fence at top of decks stairs. There is a large yard with a fire-pit with adirondack chairs to cozy up to, cook up some s'mores for dessert after an appetizing dinner. Out back is a second deck to backyard & kayaks. Sit by the water and enjoy peace & serenity. Great location! This property can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. There is also a queen blow up matters in the upstairs second bedroom closet for 2 additional guests.

Conveniently located via Route 39 just an hour and twenty minutes from NYC. Driveway can fit multiple vehicle's. Plenty of room if you are towing a boat, Jet-skis, quads, RV's or anything at all. One of the kayaks is a two person great if you have children with you so everyone can enjoy the water. You can also take them 1 mile down the road to Candlewood Lake where there is also a boat launch.

In the outdoor storage bin there are 2 beach chairs, a golf chipping mat and net targets, as well as water floats and tubes for the lake. There are more regular folding chairs on the deck. Board games are included as well in the cabinet next to the back door cabinet as you walk in the home.

The living rooms 65 inch television complete with all channels HBO, Showtime, all sports packages and every news outlets you could imagine. The sound bar and subwoofer are great for movie nights. The downstairs office bedroom has a computer monitor included, there is no laptop or desktop included. Alexa included in the main living space.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher! Wine openers, coffee maker, blender, crockpot, Belgian waffle maker, juicer with ball mason jars, margarita frozen drink machine maker, toaster, spices, pots, pans, wine, champagne glasses and more.

The center of town in New Fairfield is just down the road. Stop & Shop grocery store, delis, liquor store, bars and restaurants.

This property has a 2nd cottage completely separate from this main house but out back on the same land. Which is also a rental on VRBO, other guests could be seen or pass through to bring the kayaks down to the beach. The other cottage has its own driveway on another road on Rt39 so you do not share a driveway or anything at all.

Nice Lakehouse Stay
Our group of 2 couples enjoyed our week in the Hudson Valley area. We all commented on the excellent beds and pillows, the view of the lake from the house and the quiet of the neighborhood. Would stay here again.

Gilmore Mother Daughter Weekend
Our stay was lovely and the property was everything we needed for a perfect Gilmore themed weekend getaway! We loved the house and all the accommodations- the fire pit was the perfect cherry on top for our final evening in Connecticut. We saw shooting stars! We really enjoyed the kayaks on the lake. While it was laborious to get them down the hill and back up again, it was well worth the effort with the perfect weather we experienced this weekend!

Relaxing stay
The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the property manager and cleaning crew were wonderful. Our family enjoys being outdoors and the surrounding area offered wonderful hiking options that we explored. The location was convenient to downtown if any supplies were needed. We were fortunate to have lovely weather so we took advantage of relaxing on the deck with a scenic view of Squantz pond. Overall a great experience, the only slight negative, as others have noted, is that the bed on the main floor is not comfortable due to being saggy. It would not deter us from returning, we had a great time.

So much potential
Location is great and if the house matched the pictures/was clean then it would have been perfect! The outside of the property was COVERED in spider webs and the deck (which looked pristine in the photos) was very dilapidated with the stain chipping everywhere and cushions dirty. We found 2 joints on the table. Inside we could tell was just cleaned, but unfortunately most of the kitchenware was dirty in the cabinets. Thankfully the location with pond views was so great that we still overall enjoyed our stay.

Great location, good enough house, poor communication
The good: We had a great time staying here. The first and second floor are beautiful and very well maintained. Both bathrooms and three bedrooms are very clean and have more than enough bath and beach towels. The fire pit and kayaks are also a great touch. The water is just steps away and the view is excellent. Just be sure to bring your own propane and firewood. What could be better? Communication with the host left a lot to be desired. I’m still not sure who runs the property. There are two names here on VRBO and then another contact when you get to the house. The host never responded to me on this site after I booked. To get a hold of them I had to find the property on another site and message them there. More frustrating I couldn’t get a hold of anyone when I had a problem checking out. One phone number had a full mailbox and I didn’t get a text back. On the other number someone hung up on me after I said three words and then ignored my texts and further calls. The kitchen also needs a deep cleaning. The cabinets were especially pretty grimy What tou need to know? This house can accommodate 3 adults and 1 child max. There is only a broken Murphy bed in the basement that is taped close and says not to open. Two members of our party had to sleep on the couch. The projector is broken. As another reviewer mentioned there is no audio because the speaker wires are cut and the only way to play video is through a chromecast. This after the host assured me it was tixed.

Peaceful Lake Getaway
We had a great stay at the lake house. Beautiful views from the deck and living areas. It was very nice having kayaks, life jackets, chairs and anything else needed to enjoy the lake on site. Our lake access across the street was very small and it was a workout getting the kayaks up the hills and back to the home. There was another beach access a short walk up the road but we mainly stayed at the one closest to the home. Squantz pond was beautiful and relaxing. It was perfect for taking the kids and beginners out to teach them how to kayak. Even on a holiday weekend it didn’t seem overcrowded with boat traffic at all. The house was very clean and had everything needed to cook our meals there. This place is perfect for a nice, relaxing family getaway.

A slice of heaven
This property was amazing. Im an over packer and thinker. I didnt need half the stuff i brought! It was perfect for my kids and dog! We all loved it. The water was warm the weather was good and the house was perfect. The owners get back to you immediately with any questions. My only regret was not staying longer! Definitely coming back!

Lovely stay, gorgeous views, super clean and well equipped home looking out on water.
We had a lovely weekend stay for a quick family get-away. The main kitchen and living area has spectacular views onto the lake as does the deck where we spent most of our time. The lake is just across the very quiet street. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked, the host super responsive and the rooms very comfortable. We did not use the well equipped basement work-out and additional TV space but it looked great. Easy to get to grocery store, hikes, local attractions but honestly we just loved sitting on the deck reading and playing games (tons of those in the house as well). Very clean as well. Highly recommend and would visit again.

Listing is deceptive – do not recommend!
Upon arrival, my friends and I were perplexed to only find 3 bedrooms, despite the listing stating FIVE - this meant we had to share rooms! We informed the property manager, and they thought that maybe when they updated the listing to account for the Murphy bed added to the basement, it may have also changed the bedroom count. We responded that even if that were the case, the bedroom count would be 4 not 5. We were offered an Uber eats gift card for the mistake, which we declined. We asked that the owner be contacted so we could discuss a more reasonable resolution, but the property manager did not follow up with us. They did manage to change the listing online from FIVE bedrooms to FOUR bedrooms though. Sidenote: the Murphy bed is situated among workout equipment in the basement and does not meet the standards of a bedroom. It cannot even be fully pulled down as it sits on top of the treadmill and bench press – and there is NO MATTRESS! The amenities list “hot tub”, yet it was unusable. It’s situated on a steep hill with no entry steps or ladder. The metal bunkbed was unsafe. The top bunk was missing a bolt on one end and the two bolts used to secure the other end clearly did not belong to this piece of furniture. We pulled the mattresses onto the floor to sleep safely. A guest that reviewed the property stated that the ground fl bed was “sunk in”. The owner replied saying that they “repaired the bed right away.” The mattress still sunk in, forcing you to sleep in the middle

Overall pleasant stay but falsely advertised
We enjoyed our stay at this property but to say the least, the pictured on VRBO do not accurately represent the upkeep of the property and its grounds. It is clear that this property is either fairly new and unfinished or going through renovations. The surround sound was not complete making it difficult to use the movie room. Overall, there are multiple things that are either completely different, not there at all, and or not working. Our host was very responsive and kind and the location is beautiful.

Perfect!!! Such a relaxing place. We got to get away from our daily grinds, bring the pup and enjoy Valentine’s Day with a gorgeous snow capped view of the lake and mountains. Can’t wait to visit again sometime after the winter is over.

Awesome VRBO for skiing at Thunder Ridge
My friends and I stayed here while we went skiing at Thunder Ridge, which is about 15 minutes from the house. The house had everything we needed. The owner was great with communication. I would recommend for sure!

Great location and house
We enjoyed our stay in this pet-friendly accommodation. The views are spectacular, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the bed was huge and comfortable. We appreciate being able to bring our dogs along. I think that staying in the summer would be even better... it was too cold to take advantage of the kayaks and beach passes. We hope to be back!

We were here with my parents who are in their 80’s so the steps were a little tricky but we were aware of this beforehand. Beautiful home, very clean. A couple of small issues other than downstairs bed being sunk in… other than that we very happy with our accommodations. The master was amazing! Happy New Year!

We had a great stay. Beware, lots of steps up to property if that’s an issue for guests. Kitchen could use better silverware and some bowls and the dining table is tiny, only seats four. but other than that, everything was fine for a short stay.

Beautiful Fall Lake View
Home was very clean & comfortable. Good amount of space for a group or family. Fall colors were peak the week we were there and the view was amazing! The deck has nice furniture and enjoyed sitting outside everyday. We didn’t use the kayaks but would be fun next time. Communication was very good with our host. I suggested more flatware & there were a few maintenance issues, like a creaky sticky door but hopefully that will get fixed before the next travelers. There are quite a few stairs to get inside the home but wasn’t an issue for us. Overall enjoyed our time at this comfortable home. Thank you!
