The Garland Hotel was very nice. The room was huge with comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast was very adequate. The carpet had a few stains by the door but carpet in the room was fine.

Stayed at the Garland for Muskingum University Homecoming weekend. Check-in was efficient, room was clean, and breakfast was good. I would stay here again, very convenient to the college.

Very nice hotel in appearance, and the king room we had was quite nice, but a few detractors from our stay. There was no notice at time of booking that indoor pool would be closed. Was hoping to catch up on some football games, but they didn't carry the local networks with the games, plus TV guide showed multiple HBO channels, but they were showing other stations on them. To cap it all off, an early morning fire alarm with fire trucks and all! Can't comment on breakfast, as after having to go out to our car in 20's temps during the fire alarm, we then had to hurry to get ready and checkout with no time to stop and eat.

It was appealing inside and well decorated. However, there were unattended children in the hallways, very noisy, at 2:30 a.m. who I had to call staff regarding. Also, patrons were barefooted in the continental breakfast area.
