Peak Season 2025 Rentals: This property rents from Saturday - Saturday in the summer months( mid-June thru late-August).

Log cabin on six beautiful acres of land with over 500 feet of Galien River wrapping around the property. Conveniently located -- less than a 10-minute drive to Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, area beaches, marina, restaurants, and golf courses.

The house offers almost 3000 square feet of living space spread out over three floors with four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. An 850-square-foot deck sits off the back of the house facing the Galien River. An outdoor hot tub helps you to enjoy the winter months outside while taking in the views from the deck of the Galien River. Why not spend some time finding yourself again?

This house offers all the amenities of a home—all you need to bring is the desire to relax. The interior was designed to make you comfortable and avoid that “rental feeling.” You can’t pick a better place if privacy is important—there are no neighbors within sight and the view from all sides is wooded. If you decide to venture out, you can enjoy the area by taking a five-minute trip to downtown New Buffalo where the beach is located. Visit the quaint stores, go antique shopping, or just enjoy the many restaurants, cafes, and wineries within minutes of the house. There is even a full-service day spa in the downtown area.

If you are looking for active things to do, the area offers kayak and bike rentals. Take a nice run by the lake or enjoy some of the best rolling hills for bike rides. The new Four Winds Casino is located five minutes away and the Whittaker Golf Course is ten minutes from the house. You are also close to Indiana’s Lighthouse Outlet Mall.


We kindly request that guests refrain from hosting large parties or family gatherings out of respect for the neighboring homeowners, many of whom reside here year-round. By fostering a sense of harmony and consideration, we can ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. Please be advised that this home does have a camera that monitors the driveway and the garage but can be turned off after arrival if so requested.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The guest signing the rental agreement/contract must be 30 years of age or older (ID at check-in required) and must be responsible for the group during the entire time of the stay.

Maximum occupancy restrictions: The number of guests at any WAYA-managed property can not exceed the maximum occupancy number (or sleeps number). This includes invited guests, friends, or additional family members. Events, parties, or family gatherings are not permitted without express written permission prior to booking.

This property is Dog-friendly. A non-refundable fee per stay, per dog ( 2 dog max) is assessed during the booking process.

We had a great time at this property. So close to beaches — our recommendation would be to head to Townline Beach in Union Pier. The house itself is big, plenty of room. Love the screened in porch at night and the large yard for the kids to play. 5 mins from downtown New Buffalo, or up and coming downtown Three Oaks.

Wonderful Family Vacation
Our family (3 generations) had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The location is very convenient! The layout of the house is perfect with lots of room to spread out. We really enjoyed the deck with lots of tables/chairs, gas grill and hot tub. The screened-in porch was perfect for evenings of games and puzzles. The house was clean and kitchen is very well stocked. The property manager is very easy to work with. Fun!

We gathered family for a fall getaway and had a wonderfully relaxing time at this home. This property is BEAUTIFUL in the fall (as I am sure it would be year round). We enjoyed sitting on the deck and having a fire at the outdoor firepit and soaking up the fall colors. The inside of the home is incredibly spacious and well maintained - perfect for a large group of family or friends. Dining and groceries in New Buffalo just a short, easy 5 minute drive. This is a fabulous property. Its in a secluded wooded area that is just beautiful. Lot's of space for group gathering. Even in rainy weather we were able to be outdoors in the screened in areas. We had planned to spend more time in town, but the property was so wonderful we pretty much just hung out at this amazing house. Highly recommend!
