Semi-Rural 2 bedroom house with media room and 1 -1/2 baths. Additional outdoor shower. Remodeled Kitchen and Floors throughout. has all new appliances, blender, coffee machine, ice maker, microwave. All dishware and cutlery. Bedroom 1 has King size bed, dresser and flatscreen TV. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed with dresser and flatscreen. Media room has two full trundle-style beds, flatscreen TV. Living room has couch, loveseat and coffee table. There is an Outdoor Kitchen and gas grill, flattop grill, refrigerator, and sink. Outdoor deck with two lounge chairs plus a fire pit/bowl. Sand beach volleyball court. Kayaks and life jackets.

What an awesome property!!
This was such a great property for our family. We loved cooking our meals in the outdoor kitchen, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores in the evenings around the fire pit, playing sand volleyball, walking down to the lake, seeing all the deer, it was just perfect! Although there's still a few things to be finished around the property (per the owner), we found it the perfect vacation spot for our family. The only negative thing I can say, is all the dishes (plates/bowls/cups) were glass, and that made me nervous as we're a clumsy bunch - LOL!! Our college aged son and his friends stopped by to visit and were disappointed they passed on the opportunity to stay with us. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit the area. Thanks to Earnest for being such a friendly and accommodating host!!

End of Summer Getaway
This property is A+ recommended! The house was older but still had so much to offer, only thing missing is a toaster :) We loved the outside. Everything was wonderful! Lots of room if your are bringing lots of folks. We floated the river and just hung out back. The pet armadillo is pretty funny to watch! Best part to me was the outdoor shower!!! Will stay here again!

We arrived and the property looked a bit overgrown and looks like it hasn’t really been maintained on the outside. Interior was ok, walls were dirty, roaches, but kitchen and restroom and beds were clean and smelled fresh. They had a lot of appliances and we felt like ok let’s enjoy ourselves. Roaches don’t scare me but I saw like 5 inside the house or outside. The backyard was ok but lots of trip hazards. It looks like it wasn’t professionally done. Now what was creepy was the grounds guy who had to change out a shower head that was never damaged.. seems like he wa a just trying to scope out the place. Then he smelled the food and wanted us to give him a plate.. kept mentioning it like 9 times and when he’s wife called he invited her over then waited for us to say yes.. very uncomfortable and awkward. He gave a creepy vibe and kept lighting the tiki candles in all took him 45 minutes to leave. I slept with chairs at the door and didn’t really feel safe, ended up leaving a night early.

Exactly as expected!
The house was exactly as expected with a great outside for our large group. The host was quick to respond if we needed anything, and the house is a quick drive away if you are trying to go downtown. Great stay!

Great getaway location
Property manager was great to work with and very helpful. We loved this location and the property. I would definitely recommend it to families or small groups lots of space and lots to do. Would stay again next time!

Great place for good times
We had a great river weekend! Just a few miles from the river. We enjoyed playing sand volleyball in the back yard and grilling outside with the great patio setup. Our hosts were very hospitable, friendly and available whenever we needed them!

Very nice stay! Had all you needed and more. Very clean and up to date. Great communication and extremely friendly and hospitable. Didn’t use the outdoor facilities but would love to come back with the family!

This was my first time using HomeAway if all properties are this simple I will be using it again
Pictures of property do not do it justice it was much nicer in person it was clean well stocked with appliances and cookware owner did walk through and made me feel like I knew him for years property managers were very conscientious that we had what we needed and that we had a great experience and after our stay they continued to communicate about final walk through and return of deposit there were 10 adults staying here with visitors never felt cramped thank you for making my first experience with HomeAway such a great one see you next year

Family getaway
We rented this house for a little family getaway. We all had a blast and will definitely be booking this house again in the future. Even though the lake was not accessible, we still had a lot of fun. The arcade games were a huge hit! The house is very cozy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing Stay!
My friends and I live in different parts of the country and decided to spend the weekend in New Braunfels to float the river and catch up. We found everything we needed here, and the owner was very helpful throughout our planning process. He was able to accommodate our needs and I must say that we were greatly impressed by the house, the amenities, and how gracious our host was. I will definitely recommend this house and would love to stay in the future. Thank you so much!!

He went through the house while we were gone during the day. Said he wouldn't use my deposit for the extra people at the house cuz I was probably going to trash the house. Told me he knew we had more people there, which I told him. He was spying on us. Very creepy

A hidden gem!
I am so happy I rented this place for our extended weekend get-away! I was initially a little unsure because I come to NB every year and am used to staying closer to a specific tube rental place that I prefer to use (further north than where this house is) BUT it ended up not being an issue at all. Becky and Ernest were so kind, more than accommodating and hilarious when we met them upon arrival. Check -in was a smooth process. The house and back patio were also VERY clean and we had plenty of extra towels. Everyone loves extra towels. I came here with a group of friends (all in the young adult range) and everyone was more than happy/relaxed throughout our stay. The house slept 8 of us comfortably. The back patio and kitchen and volleyball court probably won me over - the pictures don't do it justice. The patio and backyard were beautiful. We are the kind of group that is outside, hanging out the entire time when we're not at the river and this was the perfect place for that. The guys especially loved the outdoor kitchen and refrigerator to hold their extra beer. Everyone loved the fire pit and skewers to roast marshmallows. If I had any complaint at all it would be that we had to chase the volleyball down consistently outside the court, but that's just because we were all terrible at volleyball and it ended up making for a good laugh/hilarious time any way. I highly recommend staying here!

Great space!
We (ages 25-31)had quite a few in our group and the space was very accommodating. Everything was supplied for us (blankets, pillows, sheets, mattress protectors) plus extras. It was within 10-15 minutes of everything. The outdoor patio was awesome! Kind of an oasis that had a personal volleyball court on the lower level. Earnest and his wife were very responsive during our stay in case we had questions. Plenty of parking in the drive way. Ac worked very well too! Would def come back to this house!

Pleasant Stay
The property is well maintained. It did not have two inside showers and would be difficult for two families to stay however I can see how if it were a guy or gal retreat it would be easier. I really enjoyed the outside back decks for privacy and the serenity. Overall a good stay.

We were down for a birthday celebration and couldn’t have asked for a better place. The sand volleyball court was a huge hit with out group! The house was perfect well stocked with all the cooking equipment we needed and the outdoor patio was superb. If your looking for a quite location that can host this is the spot for you!!

The hosts were absolutely amazing! Went above and beyond to to make out stay awesome! Becky/Earnest even took the time to send pictures of all the kitchen supplies prior to us showing up. This allowed us to pick up what we needed/bring anything we wanted to without making a special trip to the store. This was a great little house to get away to with friends! Awesome outdoor space! the outside kitchen was absolutely perfect for cooking.
