Green House on the River, Walk to Gruene Hall!

Located on two acres with 100 feet of Guadalupe River frontage walking distance to Gruene. Property has two large decks facing the river and views of the iconic Gruene Watertower. Rent a tube from our neighbor Rocking R or bring your own toys for a private river launch which is ground level no steep stairs to deal with.. World famous Gruene Hall & several wineries are right around the corner. Green River house has the best location on the Guadalupe river and is the closest home to the rapids and bridge on Gruene Road.. Our guests enjoy a sense of privacy and nature in an immaculate setting. House has two levels. Each level has decks running the length of the home. The first level has two bedrooms, two private baths. The kitchen is located on the main level. There is no den, but the decks can serve as one. The second floor has a loft area with no bathroom but offers one queen size bed & one single small futon. The upper deck has incredible views of the Guadalupe river, with plenty of new comfortable patio furniture. Beneath the house is a large covered area for outdoor dining, provided is a brand new grill, picnic table and plenty of seating.
Walk to the river from your own back yard. Enjoy private river access and enjoy shallow running water. To the right you will find fast flowing rapids, on the left deeper calmer water.
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO MAKE A RESERVATION GUESTS MUST PROVIDE A GOVERNMENT ID PRIOR TO MAKING A RESERVATION.
All service dogs welcome.

Parking is soley on the gravel driveway not the grass.

The house was in a central location with reaturants and shopping in walking distance. Plenty of space for the kids and adults. Nice firepit outside The price of the house was acceptable but I find the fifty percent in additional fees and charges excessive!

Great location, place was big enough and ok but pretty run down. The AC worked well and the location is walking distance to Greune. There isn’t a living area which is a little weird because there isn’t a place for group to gather. We had no issues with check in or anything at property.

This property is adorable! The beds are comfy and the outdoor seating area under the house was a great place to relax for the evening! I think the price was a little high for the quality of the place, but would definitely book again!

This was a perfect spot for my girlfriends and I to get together! Relaxing porch for evening dinners, big yard for games and located right by the river! We will be return on our next trip!

Great weekend!
Really enjoyed the location of This house, right across the street from tubing, great well lit downstairs area to hangout, and a quick walk down to the water to relax. I would say more so sleeps 7 comfortably. Overall enjoyed the stay and house was well stocked with cookware and nice extras like coffee!

Perfect spot! Only negatives were the train horns and the lack of a living room to hang out in. We used all the rooms as bedrooms so had to congregate in the kitchen.

Great location for Gruene
Outstanding location to Gruene was our priority.Some may find it a little too exposed as it is open on both sides to a car lot and multi unit property but we were aware of this from the photos and previous visits to the area. The kitchen table is fine for at least six to sit around and plenty of chairs so did not feel the lack of a living space was an issue for two nights. Enjoyed our stay. Many thanks!

Charming house within walking distance of the river and Gruene fun
The owner was super easy to contact and answered our questions within the hour. The house was perfect for our guests that were in town for a wedding. Cute rooms and great back yard and porch that easily accommodated late night conversations after closing down Gruene Hall. We will definitely be back!

The house was great. It was kind of odd having no living area to gather
We were there for my daughters bridal shower/girls weekend. We loved being right across the road from the float company for our day on the river. The house is river front technically but you can’t see the river. The porches were nice. The beds were comfy. Overall we had a good time and it was perfect for our purposes

Property located in prime spot on river, with a very short walk up the hill to Gruene.
Our stay was very enjoyable. The house had everything you need. Perfect for 3 couples or 2 couples with kids. Two decks looking right at the rapids on the Guadalupe River. This house is located in the perfect spot. We went to the Leann Rimes concert and walked up the hill to Gruene hall. Very peaceful location on a big piece of property with many deer playing, birds singing and you can hear the water flowing through the rapids on the large outdoor decks. Height recommend.

Decent Stay
The house was very clean and, for the most part, as advertised. Although it will technically sleep 8, that is pushing it a bit unless 2 of your party are children, or teenagers. The property itself is pleasant but there are commercial properties on either side. The property could also have used a mowing prior to our arrival. The owners responded promptly to a problem we had with the outdooor Edison lights. Overall, quite acceptable.
