Perfect fall retreat
We had a wonderful stay while the autumn colors were ablaze all around us. The roads winding through the hills and around all the lakes were just beautiful. The guesthouse had everything we needed for a cozy, peaceful, restful retreat. Check out the Interpretive Center at the Chippewa Morraine Ice Age Unit and do some hiking along the Ice Age Trail. Great hosts & a lovely location.

Wilderness retreat
Lovely setting, comfy bed(even the pullout couch was cushy comfy for my sister), and a great place to unwind after a long day at my family reunion! I'll be back to enjoy a couples getaway there...so much wildlife and starwatching up there!

Nice Anniversary Getaway
We enjoyed our stay! We were looking for a quiet place to celebrate our anniversary. It was near the Ice Age Trail for hiking, and we enjoyed exploring the area. The fall colors were in peak season, and we enjoyed being able to see them right outside the window! We will be back! This was such a nice area to visit, and Dave and Ronnie were excellent hosts!

Great quiet comfy getaway
Dave and Ronnie were great. Dave met us on check-in and went over all the amenities and where things were located. Property was very peaceful and beautiful woods. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a restful getaway.

This guesthouse was just as advertised, and was the perfect fit for our weekend ice fishing. Top notch hospitality preceded by quick, complete communication by the owners. Tap water was very "strong" tasting, but our hosts had some bottled water ready for us just in case it wasn't to our liking. Then we bought our own. Would stay again if head in that direction again.

Relaxation & Bicyclin
Another relaxing time at this very pretty place. Loved all the birdsongs. A short 27 minute drive to Old Abe bicycle trail. Lots and lots of zoning out in this tranquil, peaceful place. Thanks, Ronnie and Dave.

Meditation retreat and outdoor adventuring
Absolutely a perfect place to do an online meditation retreat. Peaceful, serene with nature surrounding such a beautiful, comfortable place. It has everything one would need, the most comfortable bed, super clean, hot shower, full kitchen, really everything. Then after a weeklong retreat, my partner joined up with me and we did hiking and bicycling. Fantastic hiking in Chippewa Moraine and biking on the Old Abe Trail, both very close. A big plus are Ronnie and Dave, super hosts, very kind, attentive.

Respite in the Woods
I was looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay while visiting family in New Auburn. This was close and perfect for my needs. Ronnie was very quick to respond to all my questions and concerns as this is a second floor apartment and I have mobility issues. She sent me a list of items available in the apartment as well as pictures of the stairs and front entry so I knew exactly what I would be dealing with at arrival. Had one tiny issue with a breaker that went out and Dave had it corrected within minutes after I texted the issue. I am truly looking forward to my next visit.

Beautiful weekend getaway!
I had a great stay in New Auburn in Dave and Ronnie's Guesthouse. I stayed for one weekend with three friends, and we had a wonderful time! The house was incredibly clean and very nice. The location and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Everything was exactly as I expected from the posting. Dave and Ronnie were excellent hosts. They were very professional throughout, and also very helpful with suggestions for things to do and see in the area. I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone looking to stay in the area! Thanks again to Dave and Ronnie for the great weekend!

Great Relaxing Getaway
We came for a Valentine’s weekend and were very happy with the trip. The place is secluded enough to be quiet, but still close to anything you would want to do. Dave and Ronnie were fantastic hosts and always quick to respond. We will be looking to stay here again in the future!

Cozy forest retreat
This was the perfect place for my boyfriend to stay while seeing family. We came to the area to ice fish with my boyfriends family but wanted our own place to be able to social distance a bit more and have our own place to relax to. The property is beautiful! The guest house is so cozy and was equipped with everything you need. It’s close to the Ice Age Trail which was a really nice trail!

Wooded Getaway
This coach house apartment was the perfect size for the two of us. We hiked local trails and enjoyed the firepit. We didn't sample any of the local restaurants, opting instead to cook our meals in the nice sized kitchen. The heated floors kept us toasty despite the early snow. Owners Dave and Ronnie were very friendly and accommodating, and the property is lovely and quiet.

A Weekend Away in the Woods
The cabin was exactly as we expected based on the listing! The location of the cabin is in the middle of the woods which allowed us to take a break from city life. The cabin had everything we needed including coffee! I would recommend this cabin to anyone traveling in the area!
