Small vacation home in the historic castle keep area

The charming holiday home Alte Münze in the historic castle keep area of the small castle town of Neuerburg was renovated and significantly extended in 2023. With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, the small cottage can accommodate up to 9 guests.

Sole use - you as a guest use the entire holiday home alone - pets are welcome!

Cooking, living, eating, celebrating and laughing take place in the large communal room on the ground floor. Here you can spend entertaining days and evenings with family and friends. The transition between cooking, eating, reading and watching TV is seamless, as the open-plan kitchen-living room encourages communication and socialising. In addition to a bathroom with WC and shower, there is a visible rock in the entrance hall as well as a pellet stove and a bar table.

There are 9 beds in 3 bedrooms in 3 triple room to choose from.

On the ground floor is the Taler bedroom with 3 beds. A steep staircase leads to the first floor, where the bedrooms Gulden and Mark are located, as well as 2 bathrooms with WC and shower.

The holiday home is located directly in the historic castle keep area of Neuerburg, below the old castle, which is now used as a youth hostel. Directly opposite is the old church and behind the house is the old feudal house. The foundation walls of the house date back to 1620 - this is where the Neuerburg coins were first produced, later the armourers lived and worked here. In the 18th century, the building was part of an inn.

This house is not a party house. We are happy to welcome nice, funny and sociable people who want to meet in our house to spend time together. However, under no circumstances should this lead to our house and our neighbours being affected. Therefore, please be considerate of the facilities, the noise level and the peace and quiet at night.

An additional €1.00 per person and night will be charged as a guest contribution by the town of Neuerburg. For children/young people from the age of 10 up to the age of 16 € 0.50 per night. Fitters and children/young people up to the age of 10 are exempt from paying the guest contribution
