Awful
Carpet is stained all over and smells like dog pee. Toilet leaked , not enough towels , kitchen towels no laundry detergent, no garbage bags,no pot for upstairs coffee maker, no complimentary coffee, there is a chair lift to get to the downstairs that is dangerous to maneuver around especially for the elderly like myself who has knee problems and I’m in my 70s. There is no upstairs shower or tub so had to go downstairs to shower. I contacted Vacasa five times with the only response was our first day here to say please find us another place. Never heard back. The only time was when we first got here and the upstairs bathroom rug was wet from a leaky toilet . The second day we were here Jack did come out to give us towels and fix the toilet leak if it weren’t for him we wouldn’t have been able to stay. We tried looking to find other sites to stay after not getting any help from Vacasa. We will never use any of their homes again as after trying to contact daily with no response. Thank you Jack for your help at least you were responsive to what we needed our first day. Also the jacuzzi tub emitted blak crud and could not be used. We asked to be compensated but got no respond s after five attempts

Gorgeous views in remote location
If you and your party of six wanted to get away for a Pacific coast weekend in a spacious house, this place is for you. Gorgeous views, and we really enjoyed the full kitchens on both levels. The master bedroom downstairs was terrific. The upstairs living area is well provisioned, but we spent all of our time downstairs, as that's where the bigger bedrooms are and the access to the largest decks are. The decking could stand to be treated and a fresh coat of paint would help all around. Also, they need more (and better) chairs for the deck, and perhaps another table. As secluded as the neighborhood is, both your neighbors are on top of you and can see down onto the deck. Beach access is close by, and the walk on the beach is a must at low tide! All-in-all, great property.

Neskowin Hidden Gem with One Exception...
There is a sense of magic about this hidden neighborhood with its wooded setting, gravel roads, and inconspicuous exit off the highway. Once you take the final turn into the grouping of houses, you are met with spectacular 180-degree views of a sparkling Pacific ocean. The setting of this house could not be better. We stayed here with our family during July 2024 and the weather was perfect. The nights were cool, but the fog burned off by mid morning. The path down the road to get to the beach was an adventure, but after the first couple trips, the rock escarpment with rope was easy to maneuver. The home is spacious with lots of kitchen counters and most every appliance and utensil you might need. There were very sparse condiments so if you're planning to cook, you will have to bring your own unless salt and pepper is the extent of your spicing. Like the other reviewers have written, the carpet has seen better days, but we brought our dog, and I do not want to be on high alert every time she is in the house, so the old carpet was fine with this dog mom. The kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms were also clean, so no issue there, but I do take umbrage with the mattresses. They are in dire need of replacement. If you have any aches or pains at all, please take this into consideration before renting this house. Even my 21 y/o college student couldn't sleep on these beds! I would stay here again, but only after the owners make a trip to Mattress Land!

Magnificent Ocean Views!
The "Stunning Views" aspect of the property description is spot-on. We had our pick of ocean views and sounds from the living room, dining table, kitchen, both lower-level bedrooms, and the two decks. This is the selling point for the house which had other great features as well. The kitchen was roomy for a few cooks with two sinks and two islands to work from. The cookware (e.g., skillets, spatulas, mixing bowls, serving spoons, etc.), however, was a strange mix-and-match. There was an over abundance of coffee cups but no "official size" wine glasses (so we contributed four after purchasing some in Lincoln City). The living room was very spacious with plenty of seating and a nice sized TV (although we spent most of our time on the decks). The lower level offered two nice bedrooms with attached bathrooms, sliding doors providing access to the deck, and full length windows offering the aforementioned spectacular views. There was also a common area with another full kitchen (but no kitchen utensils). The steep and narrow driveway could be tricky if you have a large vehicle but our minivan maneuvered it fine. There is a garage as well as a parking pad to the side of the driveway (which we used for a turnaround for backing into the garage). Overall, we enjoyed this property very much and would consider renting again if were available if we were to return to the area.

The house was listed perfectly. No complaints great views of the ocean very quiet neighborhood. Short drive to beach (5min) also could walk (15 min) . Lots of restaurants options either way Lincoln city or pacific city both 15 minutes away opposite directions. We experienced both have great food and beach views from the restaurants we chosen.

Great view, house is ok
The view was unbelievable but the house was not. The carpet was wet when we arrived from being cleaned, but once dried there are countless pet stains and looks like a leg was lifted on the chair too. Furniture was really broken in and mattresses should all be replaced. I’m not typically going to provide a negative review but the property is charging a premium and it doesn’t exactly add up to the condition of the property. But absolutely stunning view.

Awesome view, Awful beds
The view is spectacular, but the only decent bed is in the master. I’m not just talking uncomfortable. The lower level bedroom with an oven view literally has just a boxspring. NOT a mattress, just a boxspring. That’s ridiculous! The carpets are also very, very old and stained. The master bathroom is carpeted, which should tell you how old it is. The only way I would recommend this place is if you would only be using the master bedroom. Then you will have both a great view and some comfort.

The views are stunning. Inside the house was lovely. Would be nice if there was an accurate description of how to get to the beach as it requires a short drive; there’s no walking access from the house which was not stated.

First Vacation in 5 Years!!!
This home is remarkable and the views will blow your mind!!! We had everything we needed, we were able to cook full meals and not worry about having the space to do so, the kitchen is perfect. We loved the decks, on both levels. We had 2 issues though...#1. I had spend 2 hours chipping away at the ice (in upstairs fridge) that had frozen solid in the ice maker bin as well as the shoot it is supposed to drop from. #2. The Jacuzzi tub in the Master Bedroom (which was one of the reasons we loved this listing, was unusable, you can fill it up with water but the moment you turn the jets on, little black particles that I can only assume is some sort of mold/mildew in the lines or jet housings came flying out and were of course in the water.....GROSS!

Beautiful, quiet and comfortable
We just loved this home. So quiet and relaxing. The view is wonderful from every room. More than I expected after reading some of the reviews. Fireplace worked great, heater worked fine. Loved watching movies in the dark listening to the rain and waves. Location is wonderful. I think we only saw eight other people on the beach the 3 days we were there. Will definately return but with out a truck, Recommend taking a smaller car for the driveway.

gorgeous views
I booked this house to stay with my family of 5. The directions on how to get to the house were easy to follow. The house seemed pretty clean, though there are a number of strange stains on the carpet. Regardless, the place was clean (I was in white socks and they remained pretty white at the end of the day!) The views are absolutely gorgeous from the deck. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics (dishes, bowls, cups, flatware, etc.). The only issue i encountered was there was no instructions on how to use the upstairs TV. There are 5 remotes and even after playing around with all of them, the TV would turn on but it was just static. Some instructions or notes on how to set up the tv would be nice. There is no direct beach access from the home but you can drive down to it (though parking is tough to find). Overall, I really enjoyed the home. It was absolute wonderful falling asleep to the white noise of the ocean and then waking up via natural light. I would definitely book again.

Beautiful view but dated interior
The property has a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean from all levels of the home. The fireplace was an added bonus. Dog friendly was fantastic for us. The interior of the property is dated and a bit rundown. Carpets are very stained and need to be replaced. Interior, also, needs to be painted. Overall we enjoyed the property but the view was what made it worth the stay and cost.

Spectacular Getaway!
This was the perfect place to show off our beautiful coast to my visiting in-laws! This spacious home was well kept and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The views are amazing from the upstairs common area and the downstairs living areas and bedrooms. We found everything we needed in both kitchens. The main kitchen upstairs was especially well stocked with dishes, utensils and appliances of all kinds. The beach was a short 3 minute drive away, but there is a manageable access for the nimble a short walk away as well. My only suggestion would be to have a welcome binder with key information about the home (the TV remotes were a bit confusing), along with dining and activity suggestions. We loved the place and are planning to return!

Amazing views do not disappoint.
The good stuff first - Views at this property cannot be beat from the upstairs or downstairs. Truly incredible. Location wasn't bad, 8 minute drive to Pacific City, 20 minute drive to Lincoln City where lots of restaurants & shops were all open. The downs - the two kitchens are not both fully equipped. I only cooked in the large upstairs kitchen but had to go searching in the downstairs kitchen for basic gadgets like a can opener. Also, a stair lift has been installed. I didn't see any photo or mention of that in the listing. The chair was at the bottom of the stairs & takes up 50% the width of the bottom step. My 37 week pregnant daughter had difficulty getting by it to access the showers, which were only located on the lower level. The seat & footrest flip upright but do not stay upright. No regrets booking though, had a great time.

Great View
This house is very nice but the carpet needs a good cleaning. The views are wonderful but beach access not so much. The master bed was very comfortable but the guest bed where my 82 year old mother slept was rock hard and felt like she was sleeping on the floor, the house wasn’t close to anything but again you are staying here solely for the views.

Cliff House could be up lifted
This house has great space for many people. We liked the two levels and spectacular view. The need for updates is noticed everywhere, and the bedding was needed to be replaced. Especially during Covid. Maybe bring your own blankets. Sheets and towels and bathrooms very clean and soap and shampoo hotel style, a plus! There were not enough Drinking glasses, the stove took forever to boil water we finally found a spatula in the second downstairs kitchen. This house a bit of an enigma, but we had a great family get together Oh, the ads mention the lift chair, did not work, thank goodness for upstairs bedroom for our 85 yr old disabled grandma. The bath and upstairs kitchen are ada adapted another plus!
