"The house was exceptionally beautiful and in traditional keeping with the Mani architecture. Extremely quiet and remote with fabulous views. Great exploring and the most important for us was the wild flowers - exceptional in April. The house is very cosy and well equipped and even broadband is available despite it's remoteness. Jokke and Tonno were great hosts with easy and helpful communication. Gythio, the local town is about 30mins away (supermarkets, tavernas, petrol station etc). No local...

"The house is beautiful, with lots of seating areas, good sized bedrooms and a lovely garden and terraces. These combine great views of the sea and mountains, with sheltered places to eat and cook outside. The area of the Mani the house is in is dramatic and surprising, and Kiparissos is a great base to explore it all. Last but not least there are two delightful beaches within 5 minutes walk, both often deserted and with lovely clear water. We look forward to returning!"

La coin cuisine pourrait être amélioré en particulier autour de l’évier ou l’eau ne peut pas s’écouler autre qu’au sol. Vaisselle et ustensiles de cuisine sommaires et pas de torchons. "Great location but listing stated pool and washing machine and both were out of action. Pool was green. Host said listing stated pool was not available but this wasn’t the case on Vrbo. And no solution for washing machine which we were counting on as this was our midpoint stay on a two week trip. Also there were people around the property during the day cleaning the outside which was not very private and guests (?) in the upstairs and balcony so not an exclusive property which you might want to...

"It started badly. It took 4 attempts to get check in details via 3 different people. Then, when we arrived at the admittedly charming location, things unravelled further. the very first thing that hit us was a fusty smell of neglect as we opened the door. We do not think the description or the website is accurate. Far from being - as promised - a charming holiday cottage with a warm and cosy atmosphere - it is a rundown, cramped, shabby bungalow in desperate need of maintenance. The woodwork...

"This home was beautiful and comfortable and the lovely garden was such a joy. The stonework and tilework in the house and garden were gorgeous! The hosts had put firewood and starter by the fireplace in the living room and the grill outside. They were thoughtful to the last detail. The fire was such a treat for a nippy February evening. "The property is located a very quiet and peaceful location and it is indeed surrounded by olive trees. The only drawback we found was that in order to walk into Stoupa for meals in the evening you have to walk a stretch (about 100 metres) on the main road - we did not like this. In every other respect, the property is perfect and we would certainly recommend it."
