"Chateau de Bourron is a lovely property within easy driving distance of charming villages, restaurants, local shops, and of course, Fontainebleau Chateau. The castle hotel is charming, warm, and inviting, and so quiet, it’s as if you’re miles from anywhere. We had a wonderful week of enjoying the countryside and returning to a fabulous castle hotel with all the comforts of home. Highly recommend for couples, families, and special occasions!!"

"This is the prefect stopover off the A6 near Fountainbleu. Nemours has more gorgeous bridges and hanging flower baskets than any town in France that we have ever seen."

"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night and there were also lots of bugs. Someone in our group also fell down the stairs and broke their foot, the stairway is a bit steep in case you have elderly people. The second house had a lot of bees inside the house, I think there is a nest somewhere that needs to be relocated. All in all, a fantastic house with a great set up. We had the best time."

"We were met with a smile, despite our late arrival by our charming host who is friendly and welcoming. The whole house is decorated with attention to detail including the room we stayed in. The bed is so comfortable, an amazing nights sleep, next morning we were served with a traditional breakfast with fresh juice and good coffee, we stayed 2 nights, the surrounding area is beautiful with lots to see and do, so not only was it a convenient place to stop prior to the journey home, it was stylish with a beautiful atmosphere, our host Bob does his best to please, his lovely wife in attendance too, the best nights sleep for a long time in an unexpectedly interesting and beautiful area of France, I think we will go back again, most definitely 🤗"
