One bedroom is off the kitchen, with a door to the driveway, not near the bathroom or other bedrooms. The location was in a quiet neighborhood. "The house was very nice. One first floor bed and bath. Other bedrooms on 2nd floor. Nice private master bed with bath and outdoor seating and stairs down to other seating areas and the ground floor. "Overall great stay, thanks for wonderful communication. Minimal things like kitchen sink only works through sprayer not faucet but still works. Stairs to lake are a HUGE deal but if everyone is physically able you’re good. It’s just such a trek that it made us not go to dock as much as we probably would have. View from house balcony is beautiful and was fantastic for the couple days there. Spa is in open so not private but still very nice to have. "

Three kayaks and all the floaties you could need were provided as well as multiple life jackets, towels, etc. Check in was so easy and the property owners provide a fully stocked kitchen. It was as clean as a hotel (if not better than most) everything was prepared and any item we needed for cooking was in the cabinets (except we couldn't find a whisk). The 2 bedrooms are opposite ends of the home, with the family and living spaces between, so each couple is ensured adequate privacy.The kitchen has all the basic needs. The beds are really comfy. The back deck is large and comfortable. The home was spotless and in perfect order (with the minor exception of there being several light bulbs that were out) and our stay was very easy and comfortable."

"The house was decorated for Christmas so that was a nice surprise. House is great and the views were pretty. Only thing that got tricky was when the guard would leave at 7 pm at the gate. It always took us 4-5 minutes to get through with ID’s and their system wasn’t working like the sign said. Other than that it was great"

"My girls, ages 6 and 7 had such a wonderful getaway. House was so cute, with so many eclectic touches. We loved the huge property, bonfires, and nothing but the sound of crickets each night. Super close to Glen Rose, so we spent our days exploring parks, museums and the surrounding areas, and our evenings relaxing and watching the beautiful sunsets. "I selected this property for all its amenities for kids and adults that want to be kids again. The house was perfect. The owner so kind and attentive. The fun stuff was endless. "We had an amazing time. Carolyn was very attentive and clearly cares about the details. The house had everything we could possibly think of. The kids never ran out of games to play. The kitchen was well stocked as were the bathrooms. I’m a blanket person and there were plenty of extra blankets and bedding. The beds were big and comfy.
