The area offers services of all kinds and is nestled in the mountains, including the Orobie Alps, with peaks as high as 2700 metres. The breathtaking landscapes offer countless opportunities for walks in summer and winter sports in winter at the many resorts of the Bergamo valleys. The surrounding area has much to discover: Val Imagna with its sulphurous waters and spas to the west or Val Brembana with enchanting landscapes along the Brembo river with the pearl of the San Pellegrino area, famous in the world for its mineral waters and spas. Bergamo, the heart of Lombardy, can be reached by train in just a few minutes and offers a beautiful historic centre.
The city of Milan is also within easy reach.

Spacious and inexpensive apartment.
Old and rather worn down house with a funky smell, but not without a certain rustique charm. The (second floor) apartment is quite spacious, but needs some fixing here and there. Kitchen is nice and relatively well equipped; a descent knife would have been really nice though. Rooms are big...as are the beds. Bathroom is quite big but has a rather foul sewer like smell. The view is almost nothing like the pictures on the website and the area is quite noisy and an industrial like suburbian neighborhood (barking dogs and loud traffic). Hosts were really nice and forthcoming though, but speak very little English.
