Welcoming and new yurt. Owners did pay attention to details such as snacks, extra towels, games, scented candles, etc.... It was very clean. However, lost power at 4:30a and was not restored until 9:30a which was incredibly inconvenient and created a very cold am and no shower at all for our family outing that morning. I understand that sometimes things happen but after reading the journal book it seems to have happened a few times before. Also, we were excited to have family time outside. We planned to make a fire in the firepit and hot tub. While in the hot tub we were overcome by a smell. We thought it was gas and messaged the owner who did not respond until much later. Odor gave us a headache, we were afraid to make a fire and had to stay indoors. When the owner finally responded he said "depending on the time of year and atmospheric pressure " you can smell the plumbing vent stack. The owner did not seem concerned about our inconvenience nor did he compensate for it.
