"Admirals Motor Inn is not a new building but it appears to have been recently refurbished. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and showed us to our room. There are no lifts, just stairs as befitting the older style. We had an upstairs 2 bedroom appartment which faced into the parking area. "All of the staff that I interacted with had the best customer service I have ever come across in Nelson - and that’s saying something because I lived there for 24 years. The *only* thing that may stop me staying there again in the future is actually a major positive for the park - the entire grounds are smoke free! As a smoker myself, this was a tiny bit of a pain but, it was so nice to see that this was a policy considering the amount of children that probably stay there 😁. Well done all....
