"Nice staff. Hot tub was a bit funky and not very hot. People I talked to said the hot tub was fine the day before so maybe had a one time issue. Pool was fine. Great breakfast. Would stay again. "

There are tons of restaurants & stores 5 minutes away, same for the Eau Claire campus."

"Nothing too special about the property but can I say, the lady that checked us in is a superstar! She managed the front desk, people in the lobby asking questions, asking for beer in the pub! She was the only one working. You've got a staff the hotel better. We were here for a volleyball tournament at Winona State University and plenty of players, coaches, and their families stayed onsite. Give the lady a huge raise or an incentive. I don't typically write anything as excellent because then it would have to be perfect, so giving four stars is very good in my opinion. I appreciated the many towels and places to sit in the pool area, but I was not fond of always having to find a front desk person to come and turn the lights on every time we went into the pool area. Plus, the sauna switch made a weird noise when we turned it on so we turned it back off and...
