WELCOME TO YOUR NEXT VACATION!

Welcome to the Mountain Treehouse! We recently renovated the home with all upgraded amenities. Enjoy comfortable living spaces, outdoor decks, and gorgeous views. After heavy rains, you can even hear the rushing waters from the mountain stream at the base of the property. You will relax and breathe easier here.

Our large, peaceful home is nestled in the tree tops, with oversized windows allowing natural light to fill the space. Vaulted two story ceilings make the home feel wide open and spacious. A two sided wood burning fireplace is the focal point that anchors the main floor and warms the home on chilly nights. A 65 inch t.v. on each side of the fireplace make entertainment easy, no matter which room your are in.

Custom live edge dining room table seats six. Eight unique teak root bar stools surround the enormous kitchen island, completing the seating. Enjoy cooking in this fully equipped kitchen, including both a full sized and beverage fridge, microwave, toaster, blender, griddle, baking supplies, and cooking supplies. There is a coffee station with both drip and keurig options. Afterwards, you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the views on one of our two outdoor decks.

There is a laundry room on lower level with industrial full sized washer and dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron. The main level deck with BBQ gas grill, outdoor table with seating, and rocking chairs. The level lower deck has seating and a classic ring hook game.

Split unit air conditioning and heating units mean that each room can customize the perfect temperature for them. There are extra blankets for those cozy winter nights and some beach towels for summer fun. If there has to be work done, use the high speed wifi, and a small office space with a printer. For those traveling with young kids, we have a pack and play, high chair, and plates/cups/ silverware. There are many toys and board games in the loft, perfect for family fun! Settle into any of the cozy spots with a new book to read.

In the backyard, after a 5 min hike to the base of our property, there is a hiking trail along a creek. In the summer time, supervised kids can play in the creek while adults breathe in the peaceful nature. Along that trail is a moderate hike out to Shamokin Falls, wintergreen's own waterfall!

Four full bedrooms plus a loft bedroom comfortably sleeps 14.

On lower level
Bedroom 1: Sleeps 2. Master bedroom with custom made live edge King bed and matching custom furniture. Flat screen tv. Private ensuite spa like bathroom with 74 gallon soaking tub, oversized glass shower complete with rain shower head and river rock flooring. Access to lower level deck.

Bedroom 2: Sleeps 2. Lower level guest room. Queen bed and full chest of drawers. Flat screen t.v. Enormous jack and jill bathroom with glass shower with river rock flooring. Access to lower level deck.

Bedroom 3: Bunk room! Kids will love these custom wooden bunk beds! Three twin bunks sleeps six kids (or adults!) They will be giggling and whispering to each other long after the lights turn out.

On Main Level:
Bedroom 4: Sleeps 2. Main level guest room with pocket doors and a queen bed. Adjacent bathroom with hickory cabinets and tiled shower that shares main level.

On Loft Level:
Sleeps 2. Bonus 5th space with queen bed. Easy access with wide staircase. Shares main level bathroom.

There are so many activities in the area as well
- Hiking- the base of our home to the falls, nearby Crabtree falls, Pauls Creek (a natural waterslide for kids after a short an easy hike)
- Skiing and Snowboarding in the wintertime. We are a short ride to the lifts where you can enjoy all the amenities of the Wintergreen Resort.
- Golf- Guests can enjoy the course at the base of the mountain
- Kids Adventure Center- Ninja warrior, Rock climbing, Trampolines, Gem Mining
- The Plunge- Tubing in the summer and Snow Tubing in the winter
- Nearby to countless Breweries, Wineries, and Cideries with stunning mountain views.

A few great days with a few last minute changes in out plans
The grandparents had booked this house for 5 night for a family time over Thanksgiving! However , we/ the grandparent / tested positive for Covid last week and we’re not able to go. However, the 4 adults and 5 grands went and a great time being together and were able to do some hiking. Only one eye mask was located. Otherwise it was a pleasant family Time for them! Thank you for sharing your home!

Weekend getaway
The property is beautiful and the hosts are so welcoming! There is plenty of room for guests to hang out together without having to split into different rooms. The only thing is there aren’t curtains in two of the bedrooms so if you aren’t used to the sunrise you will be by the end of your stay. Sleep masks were provided by the host.

Perfect Mountain Getaway
House was very clean and had everything we needed. Well stocked with firewood. Views were amazing. Strong WiFi signal. House is just a short drive to the ski slopes. Liz was very responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return again in the future!

Such a great place to go when you want your family all together ! We had 2 wonderful days of hiking, eating and laughing together. Our ritual was to hike in the morning ,go to a brewery or winery in the afternoon then eat a delicious meal (brought from home ) in the evening with the fireplace roaring and the music playing on your large screen TV ! July 4 weekend with kids and grandkids
The kids love the house - all 6 get to sleep in the bunk room and there’s plenty of room for hide and seek. The sofa in the living room is big enough for all to watch movies. The adults love the kitchen - enough room and supplies for making meals instead of going out. We loved hiking to the Paul’s creek water slide and wintergreen adventure park and the wintergreen fireworks. Perfect place for making memories.

Winter Weekend Getaway
10 of us and our dog had a wonderful weekend at this property. The home is beautiful and well furnished. We enjoyed the double sided fireplace and the large tvs in the kitchen & family room. The bathrooms are nicely updated. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails off the property and thoroughly enjoyed them. The owner was extremely responsive and very amicable. We highly recommend this house for your getaway!

The property was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. The owners/property managers communicated well and we had no trouble with the check in. There was ample room to hang out, watch tv, enjoy the fire and play games. We would recommend window treatments, blinds or shades in bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy.

When you walk inside of this house you will be amazed. The house is amazing. The house is very well stocked with kitchen ware, the fireplace was great! I perfect house to have a fire watch a movie and enjoy the mountains. Liz was great with responding to any questions I had in a quick manner. Highly Recommend!

Great Family Weekend
The property was wonderful for a family gathering. The grandchildren loved staying in the bunkroom. There were 6 adults and four children. We had more than enough room. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking meals easy. The owners provided information about the area. There were lots of activities nearby. We especially enjoyed the hike to the waterfall. The owners were very responsive to any questions or needs. We highly recommend the property. Our family made lots of fun memories.
