Weekend Escape
We loved the location of this home. It was close to an easy hike as well as to lots of local wineries/breweries. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

This home was perfectly equipped and situated for our girls trip/weekend away! Close to Bold Rock, Silverback, and many other attractions. The home is well kept, clean, and has all the amenities you need for a great stay! Plan to stay again sometime :)

Fantastic for family gathering
Our weekend stay was fantastic. Location is great - easy drive to Wintergreen and to local breweries/wineries. The home was so welcoming, clean and all the extras really helped us to enjoy our stay. We had a party of 8 and there was plants of room - never felt cramped. We would stay again and recommend to friends.

Picked this property because it had two king bedrooms with own bathrooms. Close to brewery’s, Boldrock cider, and wineries. Just as pictured, very clean and had great time

Wonderful, Comfortable Home!
The home is very comfortable, clean and all amenities you can think of are provided plus some. The bedding is so soft and we slept really well. Enjoyed coffee in the AM relaxing on the deck listening to the birds. And sitting around the gas fire table in the evening with a glass of wine. Very peaceful getaway! We plan to stay here again if available next time.

Had great reconnect with friends. Only place I could find with two king bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Easy drive to wineries and breweries during the day. Spent time around the fire pit table at night. Highly recommend.

BOOK IT!
I cannot stress enough how perfect this property is!! The location is prime, right in the middle of the Nelson 151 strip, so the ideal spot for fellow crawlers! This property is so clean and well taken care of, you can feel the love in every square inch of this home from the tasteful decor to the little chocolates left in each room. They have thought of everything, three different types of coffee makers to suit all preferences, extra waters in the fridge, little make up wipes stocked for use in the bathrooms- seriously, they thought of everything! If you’re considering booking, BOOK IT! This is the all time best rental we have ever stayed in and will be recommending it to all, we can’t wait to come back!!

Family Time
We loved everything about the home and our long weekend in Nelson County. We needed something family friendly and near my oldest son's home. This house was beyond perfect for our 4 generations. We felt "at home"!!! The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. That dining table and high chair made for great dinners and conversation time. To say the house was clean is an understatement...it's beyond immaculate. There's been a lot of time and thought put into this rental and it really shines through. We loved it!!!

Great home near Virginia wineries
Wonderful home near Virginia wineries and hiking! Beautiful area!! Home has large open concept kitchen, dining and living room. Three large bedrooms all with a luxury king bed. Huge walk-in closets in all rooms. Primary bedroom with bathroom with walk in shower perfect for my parents who are in their 80's. Other full bathroom is small but clean and works very well with shower/tub combo. Lovely deck with table and seating and a gas fire pit!! Home owner was extremely responsive and wonderful to deal with. Great area with a lovely clean well decorated home with everything you will need in the kitchen if you want to hang out and cook there!!!

Great place to stay!
Jim has once again come through. I have rented many vacation homes both at the beach and in the mountains. This one checks all my boxes and then some. The house is exceptionally clean, the extras that are provided are such a thoughtful touch. We stayed last year and mentioned it would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms. So surprised this year that they listened!! Thank you! Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short but Jim was responsive, when I reached out. We will be back. So thankful that we found this place!

Lovely Afton Retreat
The owner of this rental thought of everything. The inside is comfortably and tastefully decorated. It is open concept with the master suite on one side and secondary bedrooms on the other with a shared bathroom. You can tell it has been recently renovated throughout. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure was adequate. Beds were ok but a bit hard for our older bones. We enjoyed playing cards on the outdoor deck in the evenings. Loved the idea of a fire pit table for use in colder weather. The owner was easy to communicate with. The location feels private and safe. Access to the 151 wineries/breweries/orchards/antiques was ideal. We highly recommend visiting Hazy Mountain Vineyard just down the road while you are here. The views are magnificent!

Great stay
Thoughtful property with lots of little extras - games, seating, towels and linens, even outlets by the bed. My husband and I loved staying here and it was a great place to head for hikes, breweries, and other Blue Ridge adventures. The owner provided lots of good information ahead of time and was available, even if we didnt psrticularly need it. Would return and would highly recommend!communication

Someone has obviously put a lot of care into this house. It was well equipped with everything we needed for a long weekend. The location is great. It's very close to local wineries, breweries, and other hot spots. We were a group of five women and felt like we had plenty of space to spread out. We loved the gas fire pit. I would definitely stay here again.

Wedding Weekend
My husband and I along with 2 other couples came into town for our neighbors wedding in Charlottesville . House is cute and very comfortable. Had everything you could possibly need and we had a really great time. We used the porch and fire pit a lot and enjoyed putting puzzles together while waiting on dinner. I will say that getting a ride share out there is extremely difficult so If you need transportation to an event just make sure to schedule with a 3rd party ahead of time. This was our first time to the area and we will definitely be back. So many fun breweries close by.

Family getaway
We came up to celebrate both of our kids' birthdays and had a blast, as usual. This is our second stay at this property and we will be back again. Bold rock is where we usually camp out for most of the time, food and atmosphere are great. The kids love the generous amount of blankets provided and made good use of them. They also loved the snacks and were very appreciative of those after a long car ride. Netflix, wifi, toiletry essentials if you've forgotten anything, well appointed kitchen, very comfortable beds, games for the family, and more. Thanks again!
