"We thoroughly enjoyed our week here. The house was beautiful, spacious, clean and filled with lots of antiques which added character. The house is in a quiet rural location but close to Excideuil (we recomend the market) and Brantome for kayaking. Didier was a lovely host and came early in the morning every other day to clean the pool. Would highly recommend"

If you wanted some peace and quiet there were plenty of places to retreat to. The outdoor space is immense and the wild flower meadow is the best i've ever seen. "A beautiful house, well-equipped and great for families. The pool is lovely and very welcome in the August heat! The hosts are very welcoming, kind and helpful. The location is peaceful and quiet but in easy reach by car from some towns and activities. Brantôme and Perigueux were lovely to visit and the caves at Villars are worth a visit especially with kids. Highly recommended! "
