"BULA - What an amazing property! As advertised, this oversized villa on a hilltop overlooking the sea is fully equipped and very private, providing you with everything you need for a fabulous Fijian vacation. My wife and I stayed for 10 nights this month and had everything we needed to relax including 2 master bedrooms (we tried both), a very cool outdoor shower, a grand room fully equipped with every appliance, a large pool that had infinity views to the wondrous area below, an on-call chef Raj who cooked our Fijian meals 3 nights and mornings, and the amazing owner Dani who took care of us every step of the way, no matter what need arose. You are within about 30 min drive of any excursion - we snorkeled in Natewa Bay and Namena Reserve run respectively by Ocean Ventures & Jean-Michel Cousteau Resort in opposite directions from the villa - both are incredible and different tours that any snorkeler would thoroughly enjoy. Savusavu town is about a 20-minute drive from the villa for all your shopping and dining needs and there are several resorts close to the villa that offer dining and excursions or massages, like we did twice at Koro Sun - only 5 mins away. You'll pay about 1/2 the price for your own private villa with all the amenities vs a high-end resort, so this was a no-brainer for us. Next time we're back in Fiji, we will definitely return! "Check-In: Prompt, in the correct room, right away, much earlier than the regular check-in time posted. Host and Hostess: Mr. Mukesh and his wife are excellent hosts! They are easily available if you have a request! Both are polite, gentle, humble! They own this 12 room hotel. Room: Quite, large. With fan, AC, medium size fridge, medium size TV. Bathroom was clean, hot, and cold water and it worked fine! Toiletries provided. Coffee, tea, creamer. View from the several roof to floor large windows of the bay, Nami island. Excellent in the delux room number 2. Bed: Comfortable. Clean. Kitchen: Allows making meals. Location: Totally near: Savusavu market, Pearls shop, Resturants next door Liquor shop Barbers shop Seafood shop. Hosts are generous and kind people! Whole family is excellent! Wifi was good strength. They even provided a hot spot for me! Fresh fish daily in the market! Excellent shops nearby! The magic happened for me several times. I was extra nice to them: One day they provided me okra with rice my favorite meal. Remember, I was extra nice to the staff, host family! Yes, the place us quite! There is a night guard! Near bys and taxi stands! Walkable to everything! A medical center around the corner! Totally convenient! Parking is free! I thoroughly loved my stay! I plan to come again! This is my second stay at the Bay View Barbers lodge. For my extra nice style, Mukesh dropped me at the Savusavu Airport and went on a boat trip."

"My wife and I were celebrating our honeymoon and wanted to have a "once in a life time" experience. I can say that staying here was just that! We were treated like royalty the entire visit. From the moment we arrived at the air port, Kelle (probably misspelling) AKA "The Kava King" greeted us with a genuine smile and Bula welcome. When we arrived at the hotel after a short 15 min drive, we were welcomed by some of the most beautiful voices on the island. They were singing a native song that was so warm and soothing. When you arrive you are overwhelmed with spectacular 360 degree panoramic views that don't stop! If you are looking for an exclusive resort and have someone to wait on you hand and foot this Emaho is a must stay. The staff so incredibly kind and genuine, the Fijian people are like no other. If you have ever heard of "southern hospitality" the Fijians make southerners seem like "New Yorkers". Fijians have such a beautiful culture. This is a 5 star exclusive resort, anything you want the make happen. The staff is so accommodating we were taking care of by the same people the entire time. They get to know how you like your food and drinks. The chief was a MASTER!! Eating at Emaho was like being at a 5 star 5 table cloth restaurant every night! We had lunch at a highly rated restaurant in town and were sad we didn't eat at the resort. The staff Mary, Chantel, Noni, Ini, Kelle, Vika, and Suki (please forgive my spelling) were all amazing! "

" This is a great choice in SavuSavu. Sarita, who ran the place while we were there, was so kind and attentive. The breakfast she made us was fantastic as was a dinner on one evening .( the best meal of our stay in the area) It is located above town, without noise and traffic of but convenient enough for exploring. We arrived in a pre-arranged 4x4 taxi but, if you are willing to make the effort of walking up the hill which is a combo of dirt road and concrete steps that are fully illuminated at night ,it was challenge that we really enjoyed. After a little huffing and puffing, we relaxed with a quick shower and chilled on the terrace. Amazing. With incredible views of the harbor, the new marina, and the whole enclave of SavuSavu, the place is breathtaking. Plenty of food and drink options within walking distance. The rooms are extremely clean, plenty of space, interesting lighting with high quality local decor and materials. The very private outdoor shower and bathroom space connected to your room works very well. Inside/outside dining area on a spectacular terrace is a highlight. Plunge pool is a nice touch. We were super happy with our choice to stay at Naveria Heights."

"Alex and Avi were wonderful hosts, from allowing early check-in to offering trips into the Bay on their boat. I had plenty of space to read and relax in the guesthouse, with Savusavu’s main street an easy 20 minute taxi ride away (they have a driver they use who they can call on your behalf). I had free use of sea kayaks, and I paid Alex to take me on a snorkeling trip near a sand bar. I recommend booking here!"
