"Idyllic island escape in a beautiful, secluded part of the Yasawa Islands. Made for those wanting to relax, recharge and switch off from the wider world. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful in a wholly authentic way. The bures were extremely comfortable though were missing some inner curtain/blinds for added privacy (it felt that people could see inside quite easily - one small improvement we'd recommend!). Note there's no WiFi connection in the bures if this bothers you - you just have to go to the restaurant area for your connectivity. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Fiji islands looking to relax and recharge. "

"However very hard to get to, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days on the island. It was quiet and safe and we felt very much at peace in our bure, thus the added bonus of its inaccessibility to the noisy public. The Fijian staff are amazingly friendly and welcoming. If there was a negative it would be the food/cooking quality. The breakfasts were outstanding but the buffet-style dinners and lunches were too bland and overcooked and became repetitive! "

"-Seaside bures were so lovely and cool even though no ac or wifi, the outdoor shower was beautiful -The staff are incredibly friendly and have made us want to come back just for kuata -The food was great with mostly buffet style. Not many options if you have diet restrictions though or allergies. -The dive team was super professional and did such a good job to help us all do a shark dive, we are super thankful. -I had a bad experience at the spa so I wouldn’t recommend it. -The Fiji night, signing dancing were all apart of giving us such a great experience. -The dining outside for dinner is super cute and romantic although no options if it rains. Highly recommend. "

"This was pretty close to a perfect island vacation that I could imagine. The resort is small but we didn't get a sense of cabin fever. There are 3 pools and a nice stretch of beach with great snorkeling right there. Daily activities including snorkel by boat, guided hikes on surrounding islands, fishing, etc helped ensure there was always something to do. The food was fabulous with fine-dining experiences for dinner every night. The staff was friendly, chatting and seemed genuinely happy for us to be there while the second resort we stayed at in the Mamanuca Islands didn't have the same vibe. We hope to go back again!"

"Bula! This may have been our favorite vacation of all time, hands down. From the first moment we stepped foot on Waya island and were greeted by the welcome song of the incredible staff till the moment we tearfully left we felt cared for, appreciated, and absolutely relaxed and happy. Our check in was led by Moji, who should be the ambassador of the island if he isn’t already, he showed us to our bure which was beautiful and so clean. The outdoor private shower was incredible and we loved having our front porch to sit on at night and listen to the ocean (which was basically in our front yard). Over the course of the week we got to know a bunch of the staff, big Api, small Api, captain Jim and Mac, Ela, Sulu, Lui (restaurant) and Lui who taught us how to make bangals, Tiki who maintains the grounds, and so many more who’s names have escaped me. Every member of the staff was kind, caring, informative, friendly, and made us feel like family. The all inclusive food option was perfect, breakfast was delicious every day and had options for eggs and waffles etc and also a delicious fruit plate, lunch was light and healthy, and changed daily which also included a scrumptious dessert. (Do NOT miss those banana fritters they are killer.) Dinner was often fish with local vegetables and always included a starter and dessert as well. We loved that the food always felt (mostly) healthy and was different every day. It was also incredibly reasonably priced. Do not miss this amazing resort! "
