"This is a very nice apartment close to downtown Lexington. I have friends in Charlottesville and Lexington has been a good place to meet since my family lives in Blacksburg. I will gladly stay again for 1-2 nights. I have a dog and the road was nice to walk on (not very busy). All of the following things were clear in the description and photos but I missed a low comfortable table to eat at or sit at to work on the computer and I missed a TV - I know that makes me old :) The walls are slanted. "Very fun getaway property. Well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, coffee makers and well heated/insulated in the wintry weather. Property is lovely for walks and must be amazing in all seasons. Close enough to Lexington for errands, far enough away to be secluded and quiet. Pool Table was a big hit!"

"The Gin Hotel is a must stay again for me. The Gin is a unique hotel in a 100yr old building right in downtown Lexington. It was quiet, clean, safe and all of the staff were awesome. I grew up in the area but haven't returned in a couple of decades. Downtown Lexington has transformed into a great place to walk around, shop, eat and have a few drinks. The only negatives I would give is parking is tight for modern vehicles and the mattress was firmer than my taste... but that's personal preference. "
