"Wonderful host, and the Amelia House has everything you need for a weekend getaway. We came to visit The Alamo & Riverwalk. To San Antonio is about 30mins. We enjoyed the historic tour in Castroville. Moye Retreat Center is beautiful. If you like late 1800's buildings you will enjoy the town."

"It is the attention to detail that will have me coming back again. The perfect location, luxurious bedding, modern bathroom and kitchen fully stocked with creature comforts of home down to spices rack, water bottles, chocolate candy treats, beautiful floral decor throughout with just the right touches. I felt safe and at home no matter the time of day. The hosts are wonderful communicators and set the atmosphere for a carefree vacation. Definitely a home away from home. "

"Property was as pictured in an apartment complex. Was a very quiet complex with a nice pool. Its close to both Sea World and Six Flags if those are in your plans. Owner was responsive and check in on us during our stay. Several chain and independent restaurants also close by. Of note there is a nice hike/bike trail not far as well. Good location, friendly host, and accommodations were as pictured."

"The house is big enough for two to three families with its 6 bedrooms. It did not look like it, but the house is big. The misleading part was that there are only two complete showers and half restroom(no shower) when on the listing it show 3 complete bathrooms. The rooms are spacious. The neighborhood is a working class area, but if there is an HOA, I did not see it. There were cars parked on the street and trash cans overflowing.
