Misrepresented Natal “Luxury” house
First, Natal was awesome. The accommodations very very much misrepresented. The only nice things about the house was size and location. The house is in very bad disrepair. The bathrooms had bad odors and only one shower had hot water, the others had the heater but they didn’t work. Several of the doors did not close without locking them. Many of the sliding closures on the windows didn’t work. The cabinet doors in the kitchen were falling off or didn’t close as well as the cabinets in the bathrooms( if the doors were present at all). Kitchen is very simple and with very few dishes and cups. No coffee makers toaster as was stated in the description. The owner is very rude and not helpful at all. The house attendant was nice but couldn’t make any worthwhile decisions without contacting the owner. There was one bath towel and a fitted mattress sheet and a very thin sheet for each bed only. No face towels. When asking the owner why there wasn’t a basic set of towels or a light blanket he stated rudely (multiple times) “this is not a hotel”. He said he could provide more but would charge for each piece . We have rented many houses and apartments from VRBO and this is BY FAR the worst experience we have ever had. Owner is trying to collect money for the water and energy used during our stay and I will dispute this. Stay away and unless you like mediocre accommodations and a rude, cheapskate owner to deal with.
