World Cup in Natal
When you first pull up, the hotel doesn't look all that attractive. The front desk people are very friendly. If you know Portuguese it helps. They do have one or two people that speak broken English. The rooms were more than I expected for the hotel. They had air conditioning and a safe in the room which was nice. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled with a nice sized shower and tile all around. My only complaint about the shower was we could never really get any actual hot water. Seeing as though we spent most of our time at the beach, a colder shower was a nice welcome. They do have "Wifi", but it is very unreliable. There were usually 5 different connections that you could connect to, but the connection was unstable and rarely worked. The hotel was located only a block or two from the beach, but you had to walk a little down to boardwalk to get to the main area where most of the people were. Still nothing to complain about. There were a few restaurants located within walking distance on the main road and down along the beach area. The main road you have to play Frogger to get across, but it's not terrible. Overall, definitely paid a lot more for the room than what it was actually worth, but that can be expected during the World Cup. Nice hotel, great location and overall good experience with this hotel.
