A cabin for all seasons! Frolic in the private outdoor pool to cool off after a long nature hike or roast s'mores at the fire pit.
Endless outdoor activities abound at Lake Lemon and quaint dining and shopping at nearby Nashville will fill your days and nights.

This spacious cabin offers plenty of space for the entire family, including the furry four legged ones.
The bathroom is newly renovated. Along with the two bedrooms, 1 Sweet Retreat has a sleeper sofa.

PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: There is a $75 fee per pet. Moondance Vacation Homes proudly donates a portion to the Brown County Humane Society when you bring your pet and pay your pet fee.

Best Staycation Spot!
This was just what the Dr. Ordered! A quiet, stressfree getaway. I plan to return in the summer ! The "Sweet Retreat" was a VERY aptly named spot.

Nice, quiet, relaxing stay
We were celebrating my daughters 12th birthday and it was the perfect spot. We had a lot of fun and also got to spend time relaxing. Other than a storm moving through and the power being out it was a very well needed vacation and celebration.

1 Sweet Retreat was clean and equipped with all of the amenities for a comfortable stay. It is secluded enough for my comfort of privacy. I truly enjoyed the solitude of my getaway. I highly recommend, and will book again.

1 Sweet Retreat - Is An Awesome Retreat
Had a terrific time at this relaxing home located in a quiet private setting. Enjoyed the pool during the day and gazing at the stars at night from the hot tub. The home was well furnished and had all the conveniences in the kitchen and throughout the house. The owners thought of everything. Communication with the property manager was great. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely spot for our IU visit
The cabin was a short drive from Bloomington for our visit with our freshman son, but felt like a different world. So woodsy and charming, full of so many thoughtful touches including coffee in the kitchen and a variety of gifts to round out our stay. The game room was a fun addition for our family as was the hot tub. Thank you for a delightful visit.

Thanksgiving birthday getaway
The property was a perfect space for our small family getaway. We loved the hot tub on the cold evenings. The beds were very comfortable. My husband enjoyed watching football on the large living room TV. The kitchen was well stocked and labeled nicely. We loved our s’mores care package! Our youngest dog fully enjoyed frolicking in the fall leaves all around the property. A bonus to us was the game room with a pool table. We had a really nice stay!

Better in than out.
The interior of the place is very cozy, inviting warming and very just downright charming. But the outside could use some definite TLC the front by the front deck or porch bunch of dead flowers weeds just looked uninviting. Also we have trees growing out of the gutters. The house on the outside has spiderwebs, spiders, big huge spiders, and wasps. The outside area needs to be addressed because if you’re gonna have such a nice interior, you should have just as nice of an exterior exterior also, what everybody sees first This is just one person or one couples opinion, but also the screen doors need to be re-fitted so that they don’t have gaps in the outside all the way around them

Beautiful clean property
Overall amazing, pool and house were very clean. Property is beautiful and secluded. Only comment is there is only a charcoal grill and there was minimal charcoal provided. I would specify grill type in the listing so people can prepare. Overall 10/10!

Alternative to Bloomington
We were unable to find lodging in Bloomington to visit our college student, but this cabin worked out well! It was about a 25-30 min ride to campus and was a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of Btown. The cabin had a really well-stocked kitchen and lots of little thoughtful touches. I wish we could’ve spent a little more time in the area either hiking or exploring Nashville. We did get dinner in Nashville one evening- such a cute town!

Nice but several disturbing conditions
Nice property and unique setting, but the shower knobs would not turn on the water and the drain was clogged, both needing effort to sue the shower. We did not have bedding for one bed the first night. If attention wa Apia’s to a few items it could be a good place to stay. The hot tub and deck was great.

Spectacular and Spotless
This cabin is on a quiet hill with lots of amenities. The property manager thought of everything from phone chargers (for all types of phones) to hair towels and coffee selections. The cabin has a large kitchen, an open space for eating, and a relaxing sitting area. The beds are super comfortable, too. Everything was so clean. We immediately felt relaxed when we entered. The game room area in a separate building has a pool table and dart board. We also loved the porch swing and there's a lovely fire pit with Adirondack chairs. This is a great property and perhaps the best VRBO we have ever stayed in.

Lovely cabin getaway
My husband and I enjoyed a couple of fall evenings at the cabin located not far outside of Nashville and a quick trip from Bloomington. The cabin is clean and thoughtfully appointed with a great kitchen which includes a coffee, tea, and cocoa station. We didn’t use the second bedroom, but the main bedroom has a comfy mattress. The hot tub is nice and I’m sure the pool is terrific in the summer months. Our only complaints were that the main couch in the living room could use an upgrade and the bathroom tub needs better anti-slip tread or a mat in it. We enjoyed the quiet retreat in the beautiful Brown County hills.

Great cabin
The cabin was very clean and cozy. The coffee bar was great touch and kitchen was very well stocked. The couch could maybe use an upgrade, it was a bit old and worn. Just so you know, the pool table is a separate building down the driveway and there are no longer tvs in the pool table room. Also the hot tub lights didn't work while we were there. It wasn't a big deal and the property manager offered to have someone come look at it but we weren't that worried about it. Overall it was a great stay in a great location!

Good clean rental
The property was mostly what we expected. It was clean and equipped with what we needed. I misread or misunderstood the game room area. As I expected that it was attached to the cabin. It is not, the game room is a separate cabin down the drive with no bathroom. We took two people with us that were not a couple. I had planned on one person having that space for a separate sleep area. They ended up sleeping on the couch, and it worked out fine. It was just odd for a moment to work out. Otherwise, the cabin was delightful and where we expected.
