They made it right
I will start off by saying they made it right in the end. Communication with the property manager was above average. We even received a call from the owner who was mortified by the issues we encountered. Both the property manager and owner were completely genuine and we never felt like they were trying to cheap out or pull one over on us. Just based on this, we would consider another property associated with them.Initially we were really disappointed with the house. We chose this house as 2 families with young children based on the gameroom. However, when we arrived the gameroom was unusable because it was heavily smoked in. We immediately notified the property manager who said he knew it was smoked in and they thought they took care of it. Then the couch in the main living room collapsed the first night. Again, we immediately notified the property manager who said he had just fixed it, apparently not. Then, the towel hook came off in the main bathroom. Again, notified the property manager. We were only able to use 1/3 of the house due to the gameroom and a strange smell in the lower floor. There were no hairdryers in the house, so we had to purchase one and be reimbursed. Overall, we were disappointed with the house, but pleasantly surprised with the way they handled the issues. We will likely never rent this property again, but would definitely consider another property associated with the propert management and owner.
