The property is close to the Opry. We needed a clean basic room for the night. Breakfast is typical continental breakfast. Just the basics!

It wasn’t a bad hotel. And I know it’s being renovated. But I did wish breakfast had a bit more variety and a bit better as that wasn’t the greatest. Rooms were not bad actually at all. Another is having a better sign to identify where the front office is as there’s a small sign.

They spent time and money on renovating but they fell just short. The place looks nice and fresh. And then you look at the 40 year old bathroom door they were too cheap to replace. Ragged, chipping, and just ugly. They couldn't even be bothered to tighten the doorknob on it. It's loose and rattling. The bar of soap is good for one use or maybe could have been used to shim a crooked mirror? There is not one shelf or towel bar in the shower/toilet room. Every mirror in the place is hung crooked. With bathroom light off, I noticed light through the exhaust fan on the wall above the toilet. You can totally see through to the room on the other side of the wall. You can see their ceiling and lights and you can hear their air conditioner. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE. Anyone with any brains could order a flexible scope that works through your phone. The room next door had their hanging rack fall off the wall in the middle of the night, waking us up. Breakfast? If you’re diabetic, you’re dead. Have a waffle or muffin with watered down apple juice. No protein at all or healthy options. Don’t list that as an amenity. King room ended up as 2 queens…I’m out of words and the list keeps going.

Showers you pull down a disk below faucet to activate. Dukes of Hazard Museum is next door. Couple of bars in walking distance which is nice.

Waffle mix is much to be desired Staff super friendly, my tv didn’t work in my room & they tried saying user error, tv was in fact broke Can’t get discounts on Expedia when u stay & book online, cuz hotel can’t refund you at all if there’s issues Other than that, was pleasant, clean, good showers Being ur own bath supplies if your fussy cuz soap is approximate same as V05. Hotel don’t look like much but they have updated it
