At Southbound Stays, we're a husband-and-wife team who own, host, and manage our properties. As avid travelers who've experienced the area as both tourists and locals, our goal is to simplify travel and ensure a memorable stay for our guests. We do this by providing plentiful amenities, clear communication and a variety of travel suggestions. Whether you're a family, couple, or a group of friends, we are ready to welcome you!

❗️Important Considerations... let's be sure the Country Cottage is the right fit for you and your group:
1. Rental Agreement: Must sign agreement & provide ID within 48 hours of booking (or immediately if arrival is within 48 hours). Failure to sign will result in cancelation with applicable cancelation penalties.
2. Occupancy: Max 8 persons at the home at any given time, including non-overnight guests. This count includes adults, children and infants.
3. Minimum Age: Booking guest must be age 21+ (or active military) & occupant of the Property.
4. Accessibility: Access via small flights of stairs at all entrances to home.
5. Location: On bustling street, you may hear some street noise in the front living and front bedroom area.
6. Fencing: Front yard fenced but spaces where smaller dogs or children could potentially escape.
7. Sleeping Arrangements: 2 king beds, a twin daybed with trundle (2 twins total) + queen sleeper sofa.
8. Saturday check-ins/checkouts: not available
9. TVs: streaming services only; no local cable.
10. Pets: Potty trained, well- behaved dogs allowed. Non-refundable $25/day fee (max 2). Indicate number of dogs during booking. No cats, birds, reptiles, ferrets, or other non-human animals. Pet fee is additional and will be requested separately post booking. Fee is due 48 within 48 hours or immediately if arrival is within 48 hours.
11. Vehicles: No trailers, RVs, boats or non-standard vehicles in parking spot or street per Nashville regulations.
12. Nature and Pests: Expect bugs in the South. While we take precautions to prevent critters from entering the home, occasional encounters are inevitable.
13. Home Age: Nearly 100-years old and though renovated in 2023 there are some charming creaks and imperfections unseen in photos.
14. Smart Home/Security: Exterior camera at entry door in front & entry door at back of home(NO interior cameras). Echo devices in living rooms and bedrooms (can be unplugged).
15. Guest Home: A separate rental is located at back of property. Back patio of the back home is adjacent to this home which is at front of property. Homes/ yards divided by privacy fence. Each home has its own parking & own fenced area.

Best Vrbo Ever!
We greatly enjoyed staying at this Vrbo! What a great, clean and fun place. The hosts clearly took a lot of attention to detail and the whole place was vibe. Beautiful home, amazing location
We felt so at home at this beautiful house. It was decorated with such detail, and surprisingly close to downtown. We were also able to walk to restaurants, a brewery, and the grocery store. Very dog and family friendly. (Be sure to bring sheets to cover the furniture. It’s too pretty to cover in dog hair. Lol) We will keep this at this top of our list for all future stays and recommendations to friends. Wonderful experience!

Gorgeous Home and Great location
Perfect home! The decor is beautiful, home is clean, the hosts think of everything and every age. We enjoyed walking to several delicious restaurants and although we didn’t go downtown it was so close. Our fur baby loved the fenced area and sitting on the porch people watching. We had the perfect stay and everyone agreed we would stay there again.

This Country Cottage was just a few miles from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. It turned out to be one of our favorite VRBO rentals and we’ve been doing this over 15 years! The house was furnished beautifully with all the modern conveniences. Customer service was top notch. We had a terrific time and we’re definitely not ready to leave!

Best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in!!
This place is top notch! From the moment we walked in the door we felt appreciated by the owners! A darling welcome note and goodies like I’d never seen before! When they redid the house they replaced everything with only top notch things - appliances- bedding- towels etc! In fact I NEED those towels!!! The beds were VERY comfortable! The decor was so FUN! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine! I needed a ziplock baggie and low and behold there was a box! In the bathroom the cutest baskets with items you may have forgotten to bring - seriously! They have thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay here feel as if you are home! The master shower is huge! The house was the perfect location to do what we were there for perfect! 5 min to Broadway and 15 min to opry. Etc. BEST VRBO we’ve ever stayed at! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Don’t look any further!
First time in Nashville and this property was the perfect spot for two over 40 couples. This older home is well equipped, has comfortable beds and loved the updated couch. Just as listed. Megan goes above and beyond. She provides everything and makes communication so easy. First time having a special request accommodated. 💪🏋️‍♀️ Don’t miss staying in East Nashville. Easy walk to the Pelican and Pig Restaurant, Five Daughters Bakery and to Five Points neighborhood restaurants and sports bars. Quick car or uber ride to Broadway and surrounding neighborhoods.
