"What a great place to stay. We travelled with 2 adults and our 17 & 15 year old kids and everyone loved it, and were sad when it was tying to go. The only thing I would change is we stayed in the Monteverde house and the trees about the main suite hit the roof all night when it was windy, but not a big deal at all! Highly recommend!!"

Also visit the restaurant close by also run by the family for great food located in a beautiful setting. 15 minute drive to Santa Elena is a good trade off for the peace and quite and authentic Costa Rica experience of this place. "We absolutely loved our stay at this home. The location was perfect- it is far, yet close enough, to the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. The neighborhood was quiet and homey. Plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance, so many days we didn’t even leave! We absolutely loved the pool. It was so refreshing and we spent HOURS in it a day. We loved just walking around the neighborhood petting dogs, cats, feeding horses, catching fireflies and talking to locals. We were so sad to leave...

All of the words used to describe this setting are so true--Private, paradise, beautiful tropical gardens...it is all of this and more! It truly was an escape from our hectic lives. "Just rent this house now and don't look elsewhere! Amazing view from the property. We saw a toucan, monkeys, coatis, agoutis, and other birds right from the porch. Close to everything in town and attractions. We had great communication with Daniela the host, and she arranged great guided tours for us. A truly incredible propety."

"We loved our stay in the dome. The view was absolutely breathtaking and the dome was immaculate! We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, watching the the sunset while clouds rolled in and layered on one another and then rolled back out. The property was easy to find, easy to access and located just outside of town. We were 5 minutes from the Sky Tram into the cloud forest. All in all, a fabulous stay!"
